After a bumpy ride, the top three acts will go head to head tonight to see who has The X Factor. We’re down to Sally Chatfield, Altiyan Childs and Andrew Lawson. Guest performers Jay Kay from Jamiroquai and James Blunt will also be on hand to spice things up. After Channel Seven spent a reported $26 million, the show has been a bit underwhelming. Are we all just over singing contests? Even judge Kyle Sandilands said the winner's song sucked. Plus the fact that the final is going up against Gwyneth Paltrow’s guest appearance on Glee isn’t going to help the ratings. I’ll be flipping back and forth between the two. What do you think of the final three and who’s going to take out the title tonight? Vote below!

Rumours are swirling that Justin Hemmes and Natalie Imbruglia are hooking up. The two have been spotted getting cosy at a few functions and on Tuesday night they spent the evening together in a private area of the Ivy club. Later the pair grabbed some dinner at the Ivy’s Italian restaurant Uccello along with a small entourage. Nat has refused to discuss their relationship and has been careful to make sure they’re not photographed together. But a source tells Sydney Confidential the pair are, “definitely more than just friends.” What do you think of Natalie and Justin dating?

Dannii Minogue is back in London for her duties as a judge on X Factor, but also managed to fit in a booksigning for My Story at Waterstones Piccadilly on Friday. The new mum is also busy with her new perfume and clothing line. Phew! While partner Kris Smith hit Derby Day in Melbourne over the weekend, Dannii hit rehearsals for the show and revealed that she’s getting used to people knowing so much about her personal life now that the book has been released. She explains:
There is stuff in the book that makes you kind of stop and makes your heart race. I was speaking to an author the other week, and he's written autobiographies, and he describes the feeling well, he said, 'It's like leaving your diary on the bus. And you go back to get it and someone's reading it'.
Are you interested in reading Dannii’s autobiography?
X Factor contestant Altiyan Childs went AWOL this week after his killer performance on Sunday night. He sang U2’s "Beautiful Day" and received an overwhelmingly positive response...and then he went missing. He didn’t show up for a rehearsal Tuesday morning with mentor Ronan Keating, which sent X Factor peeps into panic mode. He explained his bizarre disappearance saying that he needed to reconnect with “beautiful sadness” in a cave in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The cave is significant because it was a special place he shared with his former fiancée. Their engagement ended NINE YEARS AGO, but Altiyan is still grieving the split and has been celibate ever since. He said he didn’t answer calls because he fell asleep and his phone died. Altiyan spoke with Jackie O and guest host Ronan Keating on 2Day FM this morning and was feeling very remorseful. What do you think about Altiyan’s meltdown? Is he too unstable to be on the show?
I’ve been swearing up and down that I have glandular fever ever since I returned from Thailand and now Kyle Sandilands has jumped on the bandwagon as well. He’s been ordered to bed for a week, just days after moving into a posh new mansion. Apparently he’s been spreading himself a lit-tle too thin with his gigs as a radio host, TV judge and Kings Cross nightclub guru. He was unable to appear on The X Factor last night and is also off-air from his 2DayFM breakfast show. According to his manager Andrew Hawkins, “His doctor told him it didn't matter if he was bank teller, a shopkeeper or a TV host — he needs a week off to recover.” Do you think Kyle really has glandular fever or is he just chucking an epic sickie? Sound off below!

It’s Osbourne vs. Minogue again, but this time around Kelly Osbourne has taken to her Twitter page to attack Dannii Minogue. Dannii’s new autobiography is about to be published and in the book she claims Sharon Osbourne mistreated her from their first day together on the UK version of X Factor. After excerpts from the book were published, Kelly went on a rampage on her Twitter account:
The best thing to happen to Dannii's career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concentrate on motherhood!
I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when (it) came to Dannii but trust me when I say Dannii is the devil.
Dannii you are so lucky that I respect Simon [Cowell] enough to not tell the truth about what really happened. Wa wa wa you poor middle aged victum (sic).
sorry i have just had to deal with this bulls**t 4 years and i have kept my mouth shut but i am sick and tired of her lies enough is enough
Oh, dear. Dannii has so far not responded to Kelly’s comments. Dannii’s book, My Story, will be published on September 30 in the UK—two days before she will return to X Factor from her maternity leave. Sharon is also due to make a guest appearance the same night. We expect fireworks to fly. What do you think about the latest round in the feud? Are you Team Minogue or Team Osbourne?
