Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Sculpture at Palais de Tokyo

That's right, lipstick. Palais de Tokyo mesum is currently home to 150kgs of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in number one — "a red that is very vivid, very present" — in a sculpture called "1M3 de beauté" (one cubic metre of beauty). The seemingly expensive installation helps open Fabrice Hyber’s "Matières Premières", which translates to raw materials in English. "It’s a material that is very supple, lipstick, especially in a large quantity,” explained the artist to WWD. "The material permanently moves. It is a work that is never finished, which is always evolving. It’s a living oeuvre." We wonder if anyone will try and take a swatch home...
