2013 Autumn Winter Paris Fashion Week: Saint Laurent

Call it Seattle by way of Saint-Germain.

Call it Seattle by way of Saint-Germain. The Saint Laurent Autumn Winter 2013 took a detour into "California grunge," with creative director Hedi Slimane filling the runway with babydoll dresses, slashed leather leggings, flannel shirts, and embellished buckle boots. The YSL signatures were cleverly woven into the collection — "Le Smoking" was a tough elongated tuxedo jacket over a mini, the iconic fur chubbies turned into voluminous fur jackets draped sexily over dresses, and sparkling fishnets (even on full bodysuits) winked at traditional French dressing. We bet that front-row fans like Jessica Chastain and Kirsten Dunst will be snapping up the perfect leather coats — a sharp double-breasted trench was a standout — and the flat boots that accompanied many of the looks. Did we mention the army of black-leather-mini-clad models that came out at the very end of the show? Cool girls from coast to coast, from continent to continent, will be rocking those come Winter. Jennifer Hawkins led a bevy of beauties down the runway at last night's Myer Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection Launch at Mural Hall in Melbourne. Alexandra Agoston, Louise Van de Vorst and Alice Burdeau were among the models to join Jennifer in showcasing the latest and greatest Winter wares available now at the department store.

The makeup look for the evening's event was all about the "Flirty Sixties Flick", created by Natasha Severino, Yves Saint Laurent Australian Make-up Associate. "The makeup inspiration for Myer Autumn/Winter 2013 came from the subtle influence of the '60s seen throughout 'The Edits'. Peplum skirts, Winter florals and leather silhouettes all play homage to the swinging '60s," says Natasha.

"The black eyeliner is prominent over the entire lid and is very matte in texture, juxtaposing the luminous, polished, dewy skin. Brows are sculpted and groomed, whilst cheeks are softly flushed and dewy. A barely there mouth elegantly finishes this modern, wearable look."

Anne Hathaway Triples Her Oscars Glamour — Which Gown Gets Your Vote?

We were treated to not just one, but three gorgeous looks from Anne Hathaway on Oscars night.

We were treated to not just one, but three gorgeous looks from Anne Hathaway on Oscars night. Not only did Hathaway take home the win for best supporting actress, she also performed on stage and managed to hit up an after-party, giving us three different takes on award-night dressing. For her first look, Hathaway hit the prestigious red carpet wearing a pale pink Prada gown — complete with a bow-detailed cut-out back — paired with a radiant Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace. For her Les Misérables performance, Hathaway changed into a nude-hued embellished custom Giorgio Armani gown, and later into the night, she donned a custom light-blue silk Saint Laurent column gown for the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. Now it's time to pick favourites — which gown gets your vote?

It's the day you either love, hate, or love to hate — Valentine's Day!

It's the day you either love, hate, or love to hate — Valentine's Day! Personally, we love it because even if there isn't a certain someone to lock lips with, cocktails with the girls is always fun. But on the subject of kissing, the logistics of pashing with a bold, red lip can be tricky, so why not opt for a crazy sexy smoky paired back with a non-committal lip stain or balm? We've got 10 favourites, all tried and tested!
