Two of our favourite gals were our partying in NYC last night for the relaunch of Ray-Ban sunnies. Good one girls. Love me some aviators. (Blame my long-time obsession with Top Gun.) Now, both Kate Bosworth and Chloë Sevigny were displaying the same, kinky-straight hair texture. I'm sure you don't need me to explain it, but I will anyway . . . it's hair that, while 98 per cent straight, has a few kinks and curves to it, though not quite strong enough to be defined as wavy or even tousled. Semi-tousled if you will. (Sorry: creative juices fried. Nonsense name.) It's a nifty little, un-try-hard finish that is innately cool, but do you like it best on Kate's long hair or Chloë mid-length "lob-ish" strands? Do tell . . .
Hitting the theatre to celebrate their wedding anniversary, Beyoncé and Jay-Z caught a performance of Chicago on Saturday night, but B's hair was looking more Dallas/Dynasty, I've got to say. Big and bountiful, Beyoncé was sporting some serious root volume, yet her face remained almost bare. It's a welcome change from the false lash action or red lips that we normally see patrol A-list events, don't you think? She looks absolutely stunning, even without a helping hand from Mr. Illuminiser and Mrs. Shimmer Shadow. What do you think of the big hair/minimal makeup combo? Will we be sporting it on Saturday night or leaving it to B?
Oh Lady G, you leave me near-speechless every time. Returning to her Gaga egg-yolk yellow hair hue, I've spent a lot of time (two minutes) pondering if there is some wig action going down as there is definitely something fishy going on with that hairline . . . It looks almost heightened?? Makeup-wise, I always love her doll-esque look and that glimmering silver-khaki shadow is too die for, as is the bold baby pink lip. She's also killing it with them brows. All together, way, way, way over the top, but I wouldn't want her any other way. And if you pick it apart, there are some wearable pieces to this look. What do you think?

Being red hot seems to be Christina Hendricks' M.O.—and she does a pretty good job at it, wouldn't you say? She proves that redheads can look amazing in red lipstick, that and, light shimmery sage eyeshadow is the go against flawless, milky skin. Are you a fan of the Mad Men star and this look?
It was a tough year for RiRi but she fronted it out with impeccable grace and style. The beautiful singer sported so many different hair and makeup looks that she was runner up for our Best Chameleon Award, but we decided that she was more of a trendsetter than anything else. Whether it was Obama nails, the bowl fringe, hair streaks or '80s makeup–you name it, she wore it, and inspired the rest of us to go there too.
Runners up: Lady Gaga, Diane Kruger and Gwyneth Paltrow
Melissa made the journey from Home and Away to Hollywood seem simple; always scoring top marks for her beauty and style choices. I was bowled over by her old Hollywood charm when she attended the opening of Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne earlier this month–the deep berry lip and loose Marcel waves really work against her porcelain skin. And of course it seemed only fitting that she should earn the award whilst on Australian soil.
Runners up: Rose Byrne, Toni Collette, Teresa Palmer and Isla Fisher. Good work flying the Aussie style flag girls!
The stars of The Lovely Bones looked radiant on the red carpet in Hollywood on Monday night. Rachel Weisz wore her brunette locks sleek with a tousle at the tips and the joint winner of lip colour of the year, while Saoirse Ronan looked all ethereal with a dewy base and stunning up 'do: loved the long curls at the front and jewelled clip.
If I had to choose I think I'd go Rachel's lip and Saoirse's hair. What about you, which one's your favourite?
