Similar to Kate Hudson's look for British ELLE, Nicole's eyes are awash with pinks and purples. It's a strong, statement eye so it's been paired with a camouflaged lip and gentle contouring.

The term Silver Fox is normally used to depict the more distinguished man, but as there were some seriously foxy ladies sporting silver shadow at this year's Emmys, I thought you'd allow me a little play on words, non? It's normally used in the inner V to make eyes appear bigger and brighter, but celebs including Toni Collette, Heidi Klum and January Jones were all wearing a wash of the metallic shade all-over their lids tonight.
