Well, according to Kimberly Kimble, the stylist who created the superstar's look, it's Bella Via Hair Glitz, which she worked into Beyonce's hair as an accent to her mani. So now you can all sleep tonight, safe in the knowledge that Beyonce's hair bling wasn't a figment of your imagination. What do you think of it?

The most obvious trend to sweep the awards was the nude lip, but delving a little deeper, it's clear to see that the Grammys boasted several strong trends this year, with most celebs wearing multiple trends at the same time. (Obviously, Lady Gaga managed to wear almost all of them.)

OK, you're divided on Beyonce's blinging nails (talon trash or arty?), now it's time to test your knowledge about the other nails that made it onto the red carpet. Work your way through our quiz, seeing if you can guess which celeb is behind the mani . .

It seemed that everyone and their mother (quite literally, thanks to Miley and Tish Cyrus) opted for nude lips at the 2010 Grammy Awards: be it a neutral-toned gloss or completely bare lips. Stars backing the trend included Heidi Klum, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Lea Michele, Beyonce, Rihanna, Pink, Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Kristen Bell, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Ke$ha and Malin Akerman. Thankfully Jennifer Hudson, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift gave us a bit of colour.

The Couples Retreat star is a hottie, no doubt about it. She has genetics that women would kill for, but you (almost) don't hate her because she looks so dang chilled out about the whole beauty thing, preferring to messily scrape back her hair and apply a simple dot of apricot blush and a slick of nude gloss for the red carpet. Relaxed and radiant: 'tis a winning combo.

Looking her usual chillaxed self, Kristen Bell added some low-key glamour to the Grammys. Her loose hair looked all tousled and bed-heady, while her makeup was simple: a dose of gold liner on both the upper and lower lash lines—a good start for those who are scared by Ke$ha's full-on molten look; try Korres Natural Products Soft Eyeliner Pencil in Golden ($29.95)—and surprise, surprise, another nude pout. Is it a look you like?

Canadian model, Coco Rocha, who just so happens to be Rimmel London's latest signing, was feeling blue on the red carpet. She picked a royal blue kohl to line her lower lash line and seemed to forgo the false lashes (unlike her fellow peers), though she did share their love of nude gloss. She wore her dark locks up to the side in a loosely curled style.

It seems the "1, 2 Step," singer is starting the year as she means to go on, popping up in Paris and pre-Grammys events looking amazing. I clearly need to get me 10 of whatever she's having. I like that she's taken the volume out of her hair, opting for a super-slick pony with a centre part.

I am head over heels in love with Jennifer Hudson's blunt fringe, it's really working for her, I think. When you have a fringe, there's a lot happening by the eye area so you're always best to play up your lip instead; beautifully demonstrated by Jen and her glossy, candy pink pout. Winged liner and false lashes (just on the outer eye) complete the look nicely.

Whenever I look at Carrie Underwood, I'm always struck by how pretty she is. The all-American sweetheart has been spinning the same beauty track for years now: voluminous, beach-blonde locks, glossy lips and a 3,000 mega-watt smile. Granted, it wouldn't look out of place on the pageant stage, but whatevs, it's working for her.
