2012 Logies: Jesinta Campbell

Jesinta Campbell is proving to be quite the chameleon. Instead of always rocking a signature beauty look she's been mixing things up recently going form poker straight strands one minute to retro styles the next. For tonight's Logie Awards Miss Universe Australia 2010 opted for a looped side ponytail that blurred the lines between vintage and modern styles. She made her makeup all about the eyes, joining the many smoky-eyed looks we've seen tonight and finished things off with a red mani, which surprisingly complemented her gown perfectly. 2012 Logies: Kate Ritchie

We haven't seen her around as much of late but Kate Ritchie is back with a bang at tonight's Logies. Dripping in sequins, Kate has gone for a classic up 'do that's packed with volume and teamed it with a smoky eye. A subtle line of liquid liner adds some definition to the look and Kate adds a pop of colour with some pink blush. It's a cfail-safe red carpet look - does it win your vote?

2012 Logies: Esther Anderson

Gold Logie nominee Esther Anderson looked a little nervous on the Logies red carpet but whether she wins the big award or not, she can be safe in the knowledge that she nailed her hair and makeup. The former Home and Away star hasn't stepped out of her comfort zone too much, wearing her shiny strands in a centre-part with curls worked through the mid-lengths to ends. Pretty slate-grey shadow was worn as liner across the lids while black pencil coated the inner rims of the eye. Finishing things up was a muted, pale pink gloss. The only letdown was the miss-matched tan between the face and décolletage, but again, we've all been there.

2012 Logies: Carrie Bickmore

One of tonight's Golden Girls, Carrie Bickmore is one of the rare few adding a pop of colour to the Logies red carpet with her beauty look. The Project co-host has stuck to the golden beauty rule of playing up either your pout or peepers, opting for a high-shine red gloss to match her gown. A subtle gold cream shadow, blush and illuminiser finish the makeup look perfectly and for the hair, Carrie's gone for '70s-style movement that curls outwards. She may have gone for budget heels - picking up a pair for $15 from Kmart - but we think Alex Perry would allow us to say that her beauty look is nothing short of "expensive"! Delta Goodrem was all smiles on the Logies red carpet - perhaps she's keeping up with all the rave reviews of The Voice on Twitter! Did you watch it? Do you love it? Anyways, back to the beauty! She's gone for full-bodied spiral curls which she's teamed with a wash of bronze shadow, black water-lined eyes and a pop of pink on the apples of her cheeks. A burnished toffed-toned gloss rounds out Delta's high-glamour take on girl-next-door beauty. What do you make of it?

2012 Logies: One Direction

They've managed to make countless teenage girls scream (and cry) and pretty much overshadowed Zac Efron and Rihanna being in Australia so it's time to talk One Direction. In particular, their hair. Because between them, they have a lot of it. First up there's Niall Horan, the only blonde in the band. This lovable Irish lad always opts for matte, natural-looking texture. Then there's Liam Payne. Believe it or not, Liam's had quite the drastic haircut since the band's "What Makes You Beautiful" video and now favours a man-fringe and short(er) back and sides. Next up is ladies man Harry Styles, who is as famous for his flirting as he is for fixing his long locks through interviews. Then we've got Zayn Malik who likes his sides short and closely-shaved but his tips straight and worn high. Rounding out the group is Louis Tomlinson who is hot on Harry's heels in terms of side-swept, textured 'dos. So who do you think has the best haircut?

Megan Gale is definitely taking the show-him-what-he's-missing beauty option when it comes to bumping into an ex! The Project Runway host, who split with Andy Lee late 2010, is her usual flawless self at tonight's Logies. Warming up her skin with a pop of bronzed-coral, Megan shows why she was the first (and only) Australian to be named an ambassador for L'Oréal Paris with her sultry eye makeup and glossy pout. Sticking with her signature style, a voluminous ponytail, Megan's definitely up there for a Best in Beauty award at tonight's Logies. Do you agree?

2012 Logies: Jennifer Hawkins

Jennifer Hawkins has thrown me. First, I thought she'd stick to a black or white gown. And second, I could've sworn that she'd wear her hair down. Textured waves and Jen go hand-in-hand. But it seems Myer's leading lady has turned the tables on us. Not only has she opted for a neon aqua gown (complete with thigh-high split) but she's also got her long locks pinned up in a ponytail. Not just any ponytail, of course. It's got body at the crown and face-framing tendrils making it more stylised than your average gym hairstyle. Makeup-wise Jen's also experimented with something new, ditching her trademark nude lip for a glossy berry. What do you make of it?

2012 Logies: Natalie Gruzlewski

Natalie Gruzlewski's glamming up before she has to ditch the long gowns for denim and plaid shirts for the upcoming series of The Farmer Wants a Wife! The Garnier Nutrisse ambassador was the perfect poster girl for long, lustrous locks on the Logies red carpet, wearing her curled strands to one side in the fashion of Veronica Lake. But that's where the old Hollywood comparisons stop because Nat didn't go for a vintage-inspired, fire-engine red lip. Instead MNY makeup artist Nigel Stanislaus applied what looked to be a brick-red sheer gloss. Gold-rimmed eyes, defined with a brown shadow and some false lashes, completed the natural beauty look.

If you're going for a gown - or top - with a statement back an up 'do is typically your best bet as Magdalena Roze proves on the Logies red carpet. Network Ten's Breakfast resident meteorologist teamed her glamorous gown with a teased up 'do which is reminiscent of the style that Scarlett Johansson chose for the Hollywood premiere of The Avengers earlier this week. With such a eye-catching frock and Magdalena sensibly opted for a classic makeup look that consisted of a subtle smoky eye, bronzed and nude lip. What do you make of her look tonight?
