It's been a week full of celebrities sightings, what with the 2012 BET Awards, Paris couture fashion week and two Victoria's Secret Angels enjoying the American Summer at the beach. Olivia Palermo and her stylish beau Johannes Huebl looked chic at Valentino and Beyoncé, husband Jay-Z, and new It Couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, all hung out to celebrate music. Delta Goodrem has hit the US following her role as a judge on The Voice, and Katie Holmes and daughter Suri were out and about in New York enjoying a shopping trip despite the sad news of her pending divorce from Tom Cruise. We loved snooping on all the celebrities who descended upon Paris for couture fashion week. Between them and the street style snaps of models — we have been in beauty heaven! Nicky Hilton's eyes had us in a trance front row at Valentino, and Diane Kruger's chic red lip and cute beret had us gushing during the arrivals at Chanel. But there's another three celebrity beauties who caught our eye, so click through!

In a whirlwind week of Haute Couture, it's not an easy task to pick the crème de la crème (after all, isn't it all the best of the best?), but we did. After taking in the confections from couture week's heavy-hitters, we made it a mission to pick the most gorgeous gowns — the ones that totally took our breath away. From the lacy gowns at Valentino, finished in fairy-tale-like capes, to the all-out siren strapless numbers at Versace, there's nothing short of stunning in this curated collection of our favourites. Giambattista Valli said it with flowers, Givenchy with regal-inspired luxe — in any case, these truly are the most glamorous of them all.

This week Paris played home to couture fashion week, and although typically speaking the hair and makeup is designed to be avant garde and purely for the runway, there are some elements that can work in reality too. It's no secret that whenever there's a Chanel show, the beauty-obsessed amongst us zone in immediately on the nails. Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup, has set himself up as quite the trendsetter when it comes to new-season nail polish. From that Jade green that proved impossible to track down to Particulière, the griege polish that became the buzz colour of early 2010 he's proved himself time and again. The last few shows have revealed a more natural-looking nail but Chanel's Fall '13 Couture show is putting them back on the map. The manicure picked out the pink in the collection, using that as the main colour, but with silver detailing around the outside cuticle area. Magnifique, non? Once again Chanel proved itself as the show to bring out the ever-chic big-name stars. The usual crew — think Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger, Poppy Delevingne and Clémence Poésy — were all there alongside Anna Wintour to take in the Couture Fall '13 offering from Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel and, as always, the front row served up just as much inspiration as the runway.
