The People's Choice Awards kicked off the award season in grand fashion last year — just as they will tomorrow! — and it's an event when we get to see some of Hollywood's brightest stars try out the latest red carpet trends. Her gorgeous frock may have landed her in Fab's Best Dressed list but it was Lea Michele's creamy pink lip colour that we zoned in on at the People's Choice Awards. If it caught your eye too, the good news is that we know the shade: Lancôme's Rouge in Love Lipstick in Roses in Love. The new release, which is fronted by Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, is part of the Rouge in Love collection which will feature a new nail line as well as 24 shades of lipstick. We'll have to wait until March 25 for the lipstick to hit counters, but we think it's worth the wait. You?

The People's Choice Awards took over the Nokia Theatre in LA yesterday with major stars from Twilight, The Vampire Diaries and Hunger Games in attendance. TV stars Lea Michele, Nina Dobrev and Neil Patrick Harris were just some of the lucky winners who took home beautiful Waterford crystal statues. Maroon 5, Chloë Moretz and Adam Sandler nabbed further honours.
Robert Pattinson debuted a new hairstyle and accepted a trophy for best dramatic film on behalf of his Water For Elephants cast. He was presented the award by friend and Twilight co-star Ashley Greene as well as Chuck's Zachary Levi. Big-screen comedy Bridesmaids got bragging rights for best comedy, though Kristen Wiig missed out on the fun in order to rehearse for this week's SNL. We were there on the red carpet and behind the scenes during the telecast to chat with attendees and winners. It was a fun night on the People's Choice Awards red carpet in LA yesterday. Stars brought the glamour in metallics, bold colours, and bright neutrals as they made their way into the show. Miley Cyrus showed off her glowing tan in a light yellow David Koma dress on the arm of boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who has been busy with press for The Hunger Games this week. Winner Lea Michele went with a white Marchesa, and Jennifer Morrison followed suit in an Oscar de la Renta of the same hue. The evening's host, Kaley Cuoco, posed in a metallic Badgley Mischka gown while Julianne Hough, fresh off her St. Barts vacation, wore a sequinned mini with an open back.
The evening wasn't all about neutrals though, since some ladies opted for bright colour instead. How I Met Your Mother's Alyson Hannigan covered her baby bump in a short red Alice + Olivia number. Both Busy Philipps and nominee Jennifer Lawrence chose blue, with Busy in Carven and Jennifer rocking a daring Victor & Rolf. Nina Dobrev, who picked up the award for favourite TV drama actress, stood out in green Elie Saab.
Rounding out the red carpet fashion were a few ladies who went with black. Presenter Ashley Greene stepped out in a custom lace DKNY look and Pretty Little Liars actress Lucy Hale continued the sexy trend with a dramatic Cengiz Abazoglu outfit. Ellie Kemper was honoured as part of the cast of Bridesmaids in a simple dark dress, while Vanessa Hudgens mixed things up in a Jenny Packham halter.

There was a standout emerald green, via Nina Dobrev's Elie Saab cocktail dress, an eye-catching neon orange with Kelly Osbourne's tangerine, colour-blocked Honor gown, and Jennifer Lawrence's sapphire blue cutaway Viktor & Rolf number.
