Have A Happy and FAB Easter Break!

We are hopping off for the Easter long weekend, and hope you are too! We'll be back on deck on Tuesday (most likely with a serious case of chocolate-egg withdrawal syndrome!). In case you don't have a real life bunny on hand to cuddle like Abbey, we suggest you splash out on a hamper-load of Lindt miniatures, get a few dozen hot cross buns and enjoy the break in style!

Abbey Lee Kershaw on Why Magnolia is Special to Her

Abbey Lee Kershaw may have missed out on the A/W 2012 runways because of a knee op, but the Melbourne-born model is still making a splash in the cosmetics world with a new trio of fragrances which she fronts — Flora by Gucci: The Flower Garden — hitting counter next month, along with a stunning ad visual. Of the scents, Gorgeous Gardinia, Glamorous Magnolia and Gracious Tuberose, Abbey Lee reveals her favourite as Glamorous Magnolia, saying: "As a child we had a huge and incredibly beautiful purple magnolia tree in our front yard, so this fragrance brings back a rush of gorgeous memories as soon as I spray it." Ahh. Good olfactory nostalgia.
Flora by Gucci: The Flower Garden collection launches on April 8. Stockists: 02 9695 5678.
Diary Date: cK One Colour Cosmetics to Debut in Myer in April
If you've always loved Calvin Klein fragrances, you may be interested to know that cK one is debuting a makeup collection. Products will start hitting select Myer stores exclusively on April 1 and the campaign is the epitome of grungy cool, featuring top models Lara Stone, Fei Fei Sun, Herieth Paul and Abbey Lee, among others. The posing and photography (by David Sims) are reminiscent of classic cK one spots and refreshingly editorial in style, too. Take a closer look at the models and products, too.
Don't Be a Drag, Just Be a Queen: Abbey Lee in Vogue Italia
Have you ever wondered what Abbey Lee Kershaw, Coco Rocha and Guinevere van Seenus would look like in drag? Well wonder no more — you get to see it with your own eyes now. Snapped by Steven Meisel for the March issue of Vogue Italia, the Italian fashion bible has uploaded three animated gifs of the shoot onto its site as a sneak peek. We've got the portraits here and let's just say the result is unlike anything we've seen on the models before. Pencil-thin brows, Twix-wrapped headwraps, cupcake headbands and the fiercest of flutters.
Portmans Gives Abbey Lee Kershaw the London Look
Portmans has again enlisted the help of local supe' Abbey Lee Kershaw for their Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign. Last year we saw this fab Aussie collab do their thang in NYC, but this time around it's all about channelling the Chelsea girls of London for the cooler months ahead. Cue classic pea coats, military inspired capes, sharp-cut shift dresses and trusty trench coats. Intricate cut-work lace dresses, furry opera jackets and pleated leather minis inject textural interest into these new season staples. Before the covetable collection drops in store next week (FYI you can already shop it online), we suggest you let Ms Kershaw take you for a tour of cool Britannia. Stay calm, and shop on!
