Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Natural for End of Watch in the Hamptons

Looking the picture of health, Gwyneth Paltrow went for a natural beauty look at today's private screening of End of Watch in the Hamptons.

Looking the picture of health, Gwyneth Paltrow went for a natural beauty look at today's private screening of End of Watch in the Hamptons. Joined by her friend and fellow Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal, Gwyneth's beachy hair and barely-there makeup was the perfect match for the relaxed event. Clearly in holiday mode and letting her glow do all the talking, she looks to be wearing just a touch of mascara and little to no foundation — we can even see freckles!

As we move into Spring, Gwyneth's natural beauty look is a great example of how to look good in the heat. Whether you're fresh from a day at the beach or, like Gwyneth, you want to make it look like you are, let your hair air-dry and then spritz Lara Bingle's favourite salt spray, Evo Salty Dog Beach Cocktail Spray ($25.61) through the ends. Grab your hair dryer and set to a medium heat, then roughly dry the spray into your hair. This will give you Gwyneth's slightly toussled look — so effortless and sexy.

2011 Billboard Music Awards: Ke$ha

Always one to stand out from the crowd, Ke$ha treated us to a colourful eye palette that transitioned from yellow gold in the inner V of the eye to an aqua blue and smoky grey blend before extending out into a chocolate-coloured wing.

Always one to stand out from the crowd, Ke$ha treated us to a colourful eye palette that transitioned from yellow gold in the inner V of the eye to an aqua blue and smoky grey blend before extending out into a chocolate-coloured wing. It was teamed with a bronzed complexion and two tribal-like markings — which looked to us like black kohl — underneath her right eye. Her hair was its usually beachy mass of curls. Do you like Ke$ha's Billboard Awards style?

2011 Spring New York Fashion Week: Michael Kors

We may not advocate Michael Kors' Spring 2011 makeup inspiration — too much time sunbaking — but the finished look we applaud.

We may not advocate Michael Kors' Spring 2011 makeup inspiration — too much time sunbaking — but the finished look we applaud. The wash of pinky-red across the cheeks was the focal point, with the eyes getting a little dusting of mushroom shadow and the lashes remaining nude. The lip was gorgeous too: an ultra-light peach. The beach vibe followed right on through to the hair with it being scrunched into a pony and left loose and long at the front.

Trend Alert: Beach-Chic-Meets-Bed-Head Hair

The temperatures are soaring, Cannes is but a moment a way, so it's little wonder that US and European celebs are letting their locks down and indulging in the two-parts Beach Chic, one-part Bed Head hairstyle.

The temperatures are soaring, Cannes is but a moment a way, so it's little wonder that US and European celebs are letting their locks down and indulging in the two-parts Beach Chic, one-part Bed Head hairstyle. Mary-Kate Olsen teamed hers with a Narcisco Rodriguez S/S bronzed smoky eye at the Holy Rollers NY premiere on Monday, while Chanel's gorgeous Vanessa Paradis and Rimmel spokeswoman Georgia May Jagger were both in St Tropez to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld's short film, Remember Now and check out Chanel's Cruise Collection. Mary-Kate and Georgia May have gone for a rawer texture, which you can emulate using a sea spray such as ghd Sea Spray ($35) or KMS California Hairplay Sea Salt Spray ($36.95). Vanessa's has a softer finish, which can be achieved by tonging random sections. Do you like the style? Will you be copying it quick smart or saving it for lazy summer days?

Love It or Hate It: Drew Barrymore's Hippy Hairstyle

It's been a while since Drew Barrymore's come out to play.

It's been a while since Drew Barrymore's come out to play. The last time I remember seeing her all dolled up was for the SAG Awards back in January where her hair checklist was big, poufy and up. For the GLAAD Media Awards this weekend, Drew opted for a more chillaxed style, wearing her hair loose, with a centre-parted fringe pinned back either side. I love the vibe — it's my go-to beach look — but do you wish she'd glammed it up a bit or is this the Drew that you know and love?

Love It or Hate It: Rachel Bilson's Kohl and Curls Combo

I feel I must apologise, Rachel—all I seem to do these days is talk about Leighton and Blake's makeup, which is more than a little insensitive.

I feel I must apologise, Rachel—all I seem to do these days is talk about Leighton and Blake's makeup, which is more than a little insensitive. But it sure makes a nice change to see your effortless style back on the red carpet. The kohl's a little too heavy for my liking (only as I'd struggle to wear it so strong) but I do like the beach tousle running through your hair and your baby pink gloss. All in all a 7/10 from me. What say you, dear reader?
