Iconic cartoon character Betty Boop stars alongside gorgeous Ukrainian beauty Daria Werbowy, for the launch of Lancôme's new mascara, Hypnôse Star. On shelves in the US on July 3 (our July 2), we think the finished product was definitely worth waiting for — it's all in the eyes, darling.

Last week we brought you the news that Betty Boop — yes she of sexy cartoon character fame — was to star alongside Daria Werbowy in a new mascara campaign for Lancôme. Given that mascaras are pretty much the brand's bread and butter, it was good to hear that they would be bringing a fresher dynamic to advertising the latest release, Hypnôse Star. Officially set to debut on July 2 overseas (our July 3) we've tracked down a sneak peek of the dynamic duo on screen and although it's only a short snippet — 14 seconds to be precise — we get to see Betty working her magic on Daria, saying "All stars have a secret," before the Ukrainian beauty chimes in with Betty's signature boop-oop-a-doop!
