Actors, comedians, talk show hosts and musicians came together for the Comedy Central’s ‘A Night of Too Many Stars’ benefit in NYC on Saturday night. Hosted by Jon Stewart, the talent line-up included Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who auctioned themselves off to be BFFs to the highest bidders, Kevin Bacon and Liev Schreiber, who dressed up as butter and broccoli respectively, and Seth Rogen, who raised $18,000 each from two audience members who paid to go to the bathroom at the same time as him. Carly Rae Jepsen was also on hand to perform her hit “Call Me Maybe,” and Katy Perry sang “Firework” to the accompaniment of a young autistic girl playing the piano, providing the night’s most touching moment.

The Teen Choice Awards just kicked off in LA and the red carpet is choc-a-block full of fresh looks from some of Hollywood's best young talent. The pink carpet was rolled out in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the LA premiere of Katy Perry’s 3D movie Katy Perry: Part of Me (out July 2), a biopic that follows her singing and performing career as well as her personal life behind the scenes. Katy made her entrance in a Dolce & Gabbana gown, and posed for photos with her celebrity pals Selena Gomez, Carly Rae Jepsen and Shannon Woodward, as well as her grandmother Ann Hudson, who features in the film. Katy also hit the stage for a performance, emerging from a giant popcorn box dressed in cinema-inspired outfit that matched her fun nails. Australian fans will be able to get a glimpse of the pop star when she makes an appearance at the Sydney premiere on Saturday night.

Justin Bieber arrived at yesterday's MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto with his young brother, 2-year-old Jaxon Bieber. Accompanying the Bieber boys on the red carpet was Justin's label mate — and fellow Canadian — Carly Rae Jepsen and his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. It proved to be a big night for the young stars. Justin performed and took home two statues, including international video of the year. Carly Rae won three awards, video of the year, favourite video, and most watched video of the year. Katy Perry also posed for photos with seven little girls, all dressed as characters from her old music videos, before the show commenced. She later performed a cocoon-to-butterfly metamorphosis on stage. She apparently hadn't bargained for how revealing her nude bodysuit was, though, and tried to cover up her rear after accepting one of her two prizes.

Canadian pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen is currently in a Sydney on a whirlwind promotional visit. If you’re not familiar with her name you’ve most likely heard her super-catchy pop song “Call Me Maybe,” which went viral on YouTube when an unofficial music video with cameos from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale hit the web a few months ago. Yesterday the 26-year-old (yes, she’s 26!) sat down with The Loop’s Scott Tweedie for a chat that will air on Saturday morning (from 9 a.m. on Eleven), and the host filled us in on his cute encounter with the singer — she said he’s a “maybe”!
