At yesterday's premiere of The Hangover Part III, Heather Graham and Jamie Chung were spotted wearing the same sideswept style, but both women put a special spin on the classic. Heather went with a beachy texture with plenty of tousled volume, while Jamie styled her look in smooth, sleek curls. They were both stunning styles, but which woman wins your vote for the best wavy hair 'do?
With the pixie cut craze hitting a crescendo, celebrities are getting pretty creative with how they style their short hair. Case in point: the pompadour. Demi Lovato showed a way for ladies with lobs to pull off this style by pulling her hair into a bumped-up French twist, while Miley Cyrus was seen sporting this voluminous coif with dark roots. And Halle Berry kept hers casual with highlights. All three ladies wore their pompadours slightly differently, but whose hair won in your book?
Reese Witherspoon is back to her signature blonde hair after a short stint as a brunette. The actress stepped out sporting the golden colour change for her son's baseball game over the weekend. Reese had originally dyed her hair brown for her roll in The Good Lie, but shooting recently wrapped up in Atlanta. Are you glad to see her back to her iconic blonde roots?
Just when you thought that centre parts were here to stay, celebrities change the game. A bevy of women stepped out last week with styles that were deeply parted and swept over to one side. Lauren Conrad brushed her ombré curls to one side and kept the other side loose, while Kerry Washington pinned one side of her hair against her head. And Eva Longoria gave her loose hanging curls some serious volume at the crown. Side parts are universally flattering, but whose did you prefer?
Demi Lovato is giving blonde hair a whirl. The singer debuted her lighter hue while receiving a special recognition award at the eighth annual National Children's Mental Heath Awareness Day. Demi isn't afraid of a hair change, though. She chopped off her hair earlier this year, joining the swarms of celebrities who are already loving the long bob trend. What do you think of her lighter locks? See our gallery of celebrity style changes here!
The hair and makeup at the Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is consistently some of the best of the year. And with a theme centering around the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit, high drama was a must-have look. But surprisingly, the best looks of the evening ran the gamut of sophisticated rebel to all-out rocker. Sarah Jessica Parker wowed the red carpet congregation with an over-the-top Trojan headpiece that was nestled among a twisting collection of fishtail braids. Nicole Richie was also a surprising arrival, sporting a wispy, gray beehive that was part powdered wig and part punk. Speaking of wigs, Madonna opted for a Bettie Page-inspired hairpiece, complete with short, blunt bangs.
Moving on to the blondes of the ball, Sienna Miller went all-out grunge with a seriously textured hairstyle embellished with a studded hairpiece, inky black liner, and a nude lipstick. And in one of the more jaw-dropping moments of the evening, Anne Hathaway stunned with a peroxide blonde bouffant, accented with lavender shadow and loads of liner. Whether they were giving punk a sophisticated spin or going completely chaotic, these five ladies stole the show in their own right. But who was your pick for the best punk beauty look of the Met Gala? Vote on all of our Met Gala polls here!
This week, Zoe Saldana and Winona Ryder showed us why the faux bob is such a great style. Both ladies complemented their curled hair with red lipstick and little black dresses, but the styles themselves were vastly different. Zoe's faux bob at the UK premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness was pure vintage, with brushed-out waves and loads of shine. Winona's style, on the other hand, took on a more modern approach. She opted for tousled ringlets with plenty of texture. There is no wrong way to wear this trendy style, but which version would you rather emulate?
The press tour for Star Trek Into Darkness is in full swing, and leading ladies Zoe Saldana and Alice Eve have been on their beauty A-game. With stops in Berlin and the UK so far, it's becoming increasingly difficult to choose whose look we love best. . . So we're leaving that up to you. Vote on which Trekkie girl gets your top marks in this beauty face-off.
Drew Barrymore is no stranger to hair colours and only recently stepped out with dark auburn locks to promote her new makeup line. Then at the GLAAD Awards (April 20), she was seen sporting an all-over honey colour, but the recent change of a bright blonde hue has led us to believe she was prepping for this for a while. What do you think? Are you loving this look on Drew?
When in doubt, stick to a classic. That's what three leading ladies did this week, when they opted for a flicked-out cat-eye liner look. Mad Men star Jessica Paré paired hers with a sheer pink lip, while model Nicole Trunfio showed hers off with a twisted topknot at the Tribeca Film Festival. And Bryce Dallas Howard went the vintage route, swiping on a red lip to complement her liner. All three looks are winners, but whose made you meow?
