Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is pregnant with her first child! The Swedish palace confirmed her happy news in a statement:
Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are happy to announce that the Crown Princess is expecting their first child. The birth is expected to take place in March of 2012. No changes in the schedule of the Crown Princess’s public engagements are planned during the fall of 2011.
Princess Victoria has been married to Daniel Westling, her former personal trainer, since June last year. The royal couple have had a wedding-filled year as guests of both Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in April, and Prince Albert and Princess Charlene’s nuptials in Monaco in July. Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
