For all Olympians, winning medals and breaking world records are achievements that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Some professional athletes take the extra step of permanently marking themselves with an iconic sports symbol, the Olympic rings. We’ve noticed several Olympians with Olympic ring tattoos — many are swimmers, but that may be because they have more skin on show — including Australia’s Eamon Sullivan, Stephanie Rice and Emily Seebohm. Eamon Sullivan and His Fellow Swimmers Land Beauty Gigs

Eamon Sullivan is just one of three Australian athletes to land a beauty and grooming contract out of the 2012 London Olympics.

Eamon Sullivan is just one of three Australian athletes to land a beauty and grooming contract out of the 2012 London Olympics. As a major global partner of the Games, P&G — the company behind big-name brands such as Gillette and Pantene — is sponsoring the entire Australian Olympic team but has chosen Eamon Sullivan, Emily Seebohm and Sophie Edington to be ambassadors for Gillette, Pantene and Oral-B respectively. Explaining its involvement with the Olympics, Maile Carnegie, Managing Director of P&G Australia and New Zealand says: "While we are not in the business of sports, P&G is in the business of helping mums . . . Every Olympic athlete has a mum and mums are with their children every step of the way, nurturing and encouraging them." P&G even went so far as to survey the athletes about mum's support, finding that, between them, the mums have had over 5,000 early morning starts, travelled 6.5 times around the world and done 11,000 extra loads of washing to support their children's Olympic dreams. Wowsers! All the athletes said they're extremely honoured to be picked as P&G ambassadors, with Sullivan joking that the task of shaving his legs ahead of the Games will be easier, not to mention cheaper, now that he's part of the Gillette family!

Dani's Second Immunity Pin Win on MasterChef: Too Easy?

Dani Venn has made MasterChef history by being the first contestant to ever win two elusive immunity pins in a series — Hayden Quinn had his chance over a month ago but was let down by a case of uncooked pork.

Dani Venn has made MasterChef history by being the first contestant to ever win two elusive immunity pins in a series — Hayden Quinn had his chance over a month ago but was let down by a case of uncooked pork. The bubbly publicist competed against Olympic swimmer and Celebrity MasterChef winner Eamon Sullivan last night, where both had to cook Eamon’s perfect score dessert, a chocolate delice. Dani was given no time advantage but had the recipe, whereas Eamon had to work off memory. The judges awarded Dani 25 points for her dessert compared to Eamon’s 24 points — his dish had a great caramel flavour that Dani’s lacked, but the rest of her elements were better than his.

Was this challenge too easy, especially at the pointy end of the competition? Viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustration that Dani’s competitor wasn’t a professional chef, while the inconsistency between immunity challenges has been a big talking point this series considering the effect an immunity pin has on the competition. Some people were so disappointed that death threats towards Dani have become an issue. But let’s focus on last night’s challenge: was it too easy?
