Georgia May Jagger had the support of her fashion icon mother Jerry Hall at the launch party for 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty at Sydney’s Town Hall last night. Earlier in the day, Georgia was formally introduced as an ambassador for the event along with Jesinta Campbell at a media call, and the party gave them another opportunity to show off their glamorous sides. Jerry and Georgia made a striking pair on the pink carpet (Georgia’s father is rock legend Mick Jagger), but another couple who got lots of attention were Jodi and Braith Anasta, who earlier in the week confirmed they’re expecting their first child. Jodi kept her burgeoning baby bump under wraps in a dress with peplum detailing, and being in the early stages of pregnancy hasn’t stopped her from getting into her role as the new face of Myer’s Piper clothing range, as she was busy shooting the campaign on the weekend.
Last night’s Helpmann Awards drew Australia’s top players in theatre and the arts to the Sydney Opera House. Eddie Perfect and Christie Whelan Browne hosted the glamorous event, which handed out 43 awards. A brunette Lucy Durack won best female actor in a musical for her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde: The Musical, which went on to pick up another four awards, including best musical. The Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Secret River was the night’s biggest winner, with six honours, while Melbourne’s new stage extravaganza King Kong took home five awards in design categories. Stars such as Sarah Murdoch, Baz Luhrmann, Hugh Sheridan and Elizabeth Debicki were also on hand to present some of the awards. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley celebrated the end of a successful shoot for beauty brand ModelCo by attending a lavish dinner on Hayman Island last night. The British model was recently announced as ModelCo’s new ambassador, and after landing in Australia on Monday she was whisked away to the island to shoot the upcoming campaign. Uncooperative weather meant Rosie’s dream of taking photos on the beach had to be shelved, with a luxurious villa working as the backdrop instead. Rosie told the Daily Telegraph, “The weather wasn’t amazing. It’s very windy but we made it work and it was a lot of fun.”
Rosie, who showed off her toned physique in a midriff-baring Calvin Klein ensemble, was more than happy to mingle with a select group of celebrities and media at dinner last night, including her fellow ModelCo ambassador Dannii Minogue. The Voice 2012 finalist Emma Birdsall performed for guests, who were treated to a five-star dining experience. Rosie also laughed off recent reports that said her boyfriend of three years, Jason Statham, was ready to propose. She said, “I woke up to those stories yesterday. It’s ridiculous what they write. I don’t pay any attention to them. But it would be exciting.”

Hundreds of people flocked to The Star in Sydney last night to catch a glimpse of one of the world’s biggest stars, Brad Pitt, at the Australian premiere of World War Z. With his long hair in a ponytail and dressed down in black — his outfit of choice at the film’s recent European premieres — Brad arrived on the red carpet to excited screams, and took his time taking photos with fans who lined the entrance to the entertainment venue. His partner Angelina Jolie did not accompany him to Australia, but he was reportedly joined by his nine-year-old son Pax, and told media the country looks “even better than it looks on TV” for his first-ever visit.
After wrapping interviews and fan photos, Brad made his way to the newly-refurbished events centre at the top of The Star, which had a special screen custom built for the night’s screening. He joined director Marc Forster to introduce the picture but kept it short and sweet, saying, “This has been six years in the making. I see no more reason to muck about — let’s get this party started.” The room was also filled with plenty of Australia’s famous faces, including Reece Mastin and Rhiannon Fish, Fitzy and Wippa, Brenna Harding, Emma Birdsall, and newly-engaged couple Nikki Phillips and Dane Rumble. World War Z is out on June 20.
InStyle magazine hosted their annual Women of Style Awards last night in Sydney, drawing a fabulously dressed crowd to Eveleigh's CarriageWorks. Designer Carla Zampatti was honoured with the Fashion Award, and an absentee Nicole Kidman was awarded the Hall of Fame gong. We, as usual, were just as interested in scoping out the what the A-list crowd wore to this style-driven event as who-won-what. Lindy Klim wowed in a sculptural Toni Maticevski number, The Voice alumn' Emma Birdsall went the retro route in a brocade Carla Zampatti number, Samara Weaving showed off her killer figure in a sheer-spliced LBD and Kate Waterhouse kept it casual in a relaxed Lanvin top + pant combo. We couldn't help but notice that some of the stellar celebrity dresses from last night's AACTA Awards in Sydney looked mighty familiar to us. We're all for recycling a fabulous frock, don't get us wrong now, and hey! If it's good enough for Kate Middleton, it's certainly good enough for Sydney's A-list attendees. From Jessica Mauboy's second Steven Khalil gown for the evening, to Jessica McNamee's sophisticated Carl Kapp sheath to the Dior dress that is making its third red carpet appearance — we want to get your take on who wore it best. Go on, you know you've got an opinion.
Bold, bright colour, graphic prints and pale and pretty looks were the top three trends we noticed on the ARIA Awards red carpet. Ricki-Lee Coulter, DJ Havana Brown and Sarah De Bono opted for stand-out colour, while punchy prints were the way forward for Nicki Minaj (in Camilla), Kimbra, Jesinta Campbell and Ruby Rose (via a custom-designed Romance Was Born frock). Then there was the pale and interesting brigade; Taylor Swift's romantic Elie Saab gown and Samantha Jade's sculptural number adding a little elegance to the black carpet. We can't pick a favourite (yet), so we're rounding up all the celebrity looks so that you can make an informed decision. Step inside and see who wore what to the 2012 ARIA Awards.

This has been a bit of a bumper week when it comes to celebrities on social media! First we introduced you to all the best people to follow on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, then we brought you our Top 10 total round up and now? Well now we're winding down with a collection of the best tweets of the week. From Guy Sebastian lamenting a lost opportunity with beauty giant Chanel, to Alexa Chung taking issue with children's game pass the parcel, we were highly amused, often bemused and once or twice, a little confused, when we caught up with all the best stars on Twitter. Keen to know more? One of our favourite male actors is new to the Twittersphere — and you'll never guess who he credits with convincing him to join — Nicole Richie is making a case for under-eye bags and Ellen DeGeneres has some rather unusual carry-on luggage . . . But there's heaps more, still. You'd better clicking and reading!
Lots of Australian stars made their way to the Hordern Pavilion for Myer’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection launch last night. Runway star and Myer ambassador Jennifer Hawkins glittered in gold sass & bide on the black carpet, keeping her appearance short and sweet so she could get ready for the catwalk. Kris Smith looked smart in a suit — and showed off some facial hair — before revealing his shirtless physique to model upcoming men’s Summer fashion. Laura Dundovic and Laura Csortan matched in metallics, wearing Jayson Brunsdon and Manning Cartell respectively, while Jesinta Campbell was glowing in floral Manning Cartell and excited to talk about her recent trip to LA, Vegas and Mexico, telling us, “It was so much fun. It was funny — there was a write-up the other day about the tan, and they said how fake it looked and how shocking it was. And I said, ‘Let me tell you, Mexico does not come in a can!’” TV stars were also well represented, with The Voice’s Emma Birdsall, Sarah De Bono and Darren Percival, MasterChef’s Andy Allen and Ben Milbourne, and Sunrise’s Melissa Doyle and David Koch attending. One of the best moments at any fashion show is the front row arrivals. It's such a treat to see our favourite celebrities all primped and preened, and looking their best. The beauty looks on show at last night's Myer Spring Summer 2013 Collections were very scrumptious, with the likes of Jennifer Hawkins, Jesinta Campbell and the amazing sass & bide girls, Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton, looking so bronzed we wanted to run away to a very stylish island with them.
