Yesterday marked the first RAFW appearance for front row regular Lara Bingle, who suited up in a man-style tuxedo to take in Ellery’s much-hyped show with Teresa Palmer, who has jetted back home for a 10-day trip. The gorgeous friends watched as Jennifer Hawkins strutted down the catwalk (with her engagement ring on), and later in the night Lara changed into a tight, sexy dress to watch Josh Goot’s show. Joining her at the City Ford Building in Surry Hills were a group of this year’s RAFW familiar faces, such as Ruby Rose, Sophie Lowe, Erin McNaught and Gracie Otto. Also present were Lara’s ex-fiancé Michael Clarke, who had the company of his girlfriend Kyly Boldy. The former couple each praised the designer on their Twitter accounts, with Lara saying, “MY FRIEND JOSH GOOT KILLED IT ONCE AGAIN. CONGRATULATIONS!” and Michael calling the show “outstanding.” Be sure to keep up with all the RAFW fashion and beauty trends on Fab and Bella!
It seems like we say this a lot, but yesterday’s schedule at RAFW featured some of the most anticipated shows, like Dion Lee, Ellery and Josh Goot. Unsurprisingly, the celebrity turnouts at these shows gave us almost as much to ogle, with Lara Bingle switching from a black tuxedo to sexy bodycon dress between shows and BFF Teresa Palmer donning a metallic number. Jennifer Hawkins was the star attraction at Ellery but over at Josh Goot the celebrities stayed off the catwalk, with Sophie Lowe, Ruby Rose, Kyly Boldy, Michael Clarke and Susie Bubble enjoying the fashion from the front row. We’ve reached the last day of RAFW but designers and celebs are showing no signs of slowing down. The front row at Ellery featured besties Lara Bingle and Teresa Palmer, while Jennifer Hawkins modelled a tousled ’do on the catwalk. At Josh Goot, Sophie Lowe showed some off some side braid style and Erin McNaught wore her hair in signature loose waves.
While we’re still upset that Rafael Nadal is out of the Australian Open, the excitement is only going to build as we reach the grand finals this weekend. Billy Connolly brought some international flavour and sat in fellow Scot Andy Murray’s player’s box, while Channel Seven stars like Hugh Sheridan, Tessa James and Jodi Gordon cheered on from their seats, with some of them spending their Australia Day at the Open. Last night’s semi final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic saw the Serb proceed to the grand final on Sunday night, and fellow Serb Ana Ivanovic was there to see his victory. Also spotted in the crowd: a bare-faced Erin McNaught. Tonight’s match is between Murray and Spaniard David Ferrer, who ousted Nadal two nights ago. Will you be watching?
