Jennifer Lopez showed off her hot legs in a short sequined skirt at the Gillette Venus Goddess Fund for Education launch press conference in New York today, where it was announced that she’ll be the brand’s first global ambassador! The busy star has a lot of things on her plate at the moment, including her gig as American Idol judge. She’s reportedly upset that a lot of the attention has been focused on her fellow judge, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler. Still, she probably doesn’t have too much time to worry about that with all her other activities a pair of cute twins at home to keep her occupied.

Being a global ambassador for Gillette razors might be a daunting task for some, but not when you've got pins like Jennifer Lopez! Proving she's on fire right now, the recently-signed L'Oréal Paris ambassador is now lending her legs to Gillette, signing up as its first ever global ambassador.

The singer revealed details of her new gig at a NYC press conference today, including promoting The Venus Goddess Fund for Education, which aims to empower women through education, allowing them to reach their full potential. The fund will support charities such as The Step Up Women's Network and Lopez's own Maribel Foundation.

And what better way to ink the deal than by covering the '80s Bananarama classic "Venus". Yep, Jennifer's legs won't be the only things appearing in the ad, her version of the cult song will be played, too! Her cover will debut officially tomorrow on www.gilettevenus.com but the track has already hit You Tube so check it out below. Jennifer's ads (inset) will start to appear this month.
