We may be early in the piece — after all, the 55th Annual TV Week Logie Awards only kick-off tonight at 8pm on Channel 9 — but our favourite stars are already sharing their big night. Jennifer Hawkins snapped a picture of jeweller Nic Cerrone, whose jewels she'll be decked in tonight, while Jesinta Campbell wowed us with her glamorous appearance on the red carpet. Jules Lund chatted up Olly Murs and Zoe Foster's makeup just about knocked our socks off. Check out the action so far, and be sure to keep checking back as we'll be updating it all along the way!
Bold, bright colour, graphic prints and pale and pretty looks were the top three trends we noticed on the ARIA Awards red carpet. Ricki-Lee Coulter, DJ Havana Brown and Sarah De Bono opted for stand-out colour, while punchy prints were the way forward for Nicki Minaj (in Camilla), Kimbra, Jesinta Campbell and Ruby Rose (via a custom-designed Romance Was Born frock). Then there was the pale and interesting brigade; Taylor Swift's romantic Elie Saab gown and Samantha Jade's sculptural number adding a little elegance to the black carpet. We can't pick a favourite (yet), so we're rounding up all the celebrity looks so that you can make an informed decision. Step inside and see who wore what to the 2012 ARIA Awards.

Last night saw a bunch of famous Aussie models, musos and all-round pretty people joining famed DJ Martin Solveig in Sydney for the annual MTV Summer Party. The party celebrated all things summer, in true MTV style — with flowing drinks, sexy summer style from Nathan Jolliffe and Jules Sebastian and some seriously good beats coming from the likes of DJ Havana Brown, Alison Wonderland and the guest of honour, Solveig. It's been a week full of events for the visiting Frenchman — on Saturday night he welcomed Pacha to Sydney along with a star-studded crowd at Ivy, after playing at Stereosonic just hours before. Are you ready for the 2012 ARIA Awards? We are! They have moved from a Sunday night to a Thursday — tomorrow Thursday afternoon from around 4pm to be precise. Pop, Bella, and I will be live-blogging the red carpet arrivals and the show so you won't miss a thing on the beauty, celebrity and fashion fronts. It's the Australian music industry's night of nights so we are expecting big things from the attendees frock-wise. Think loud, think sparkly, think glam! To refresh your memory, let's take a walk down the red carpet memory lane with some of the most memorable looks from last year's red rug.
A slew of fashionable locals hit The Water Bar at Blue Hotel, Woolloomoloo on Thursday night to celebrate the first birthday of Australian fashion and footwear store, The Iconic. Gorgeous girls Nikki Phillips, Jesinta Campbell, Zoe Balbi and Jessica Mauboy were joined by equally cool guys Guy Sebastian, Johnny Ruffo, Firass Dirani and more. Guy performed, as did Cheyenne Tozzi, but the things that got guests talking the most? The amazing cake — three The Iconic boxes stacked atop one another — by Planet Cake, and amazing outfits, styled by The Iconic, of course. The Hordern Pavillion in Sydney got a huge dose of star power and green goo at the inaugural Slimefest event on Saturday. A mix of musicians and TV personalities subjected themselves to being slimed in front of a crowd of more than 3,000 excited fans, including Charlotte Dawson in her first public appearance since being hospitalised after vicious social media attacks. The issue of trolling in recent weeks even caused the celebrities to band together for a new 'Dare to be Square' campaign, which calls for more positivity on social media. Energetic performances came from the likes of Reece Mastin, Guy Sebastian, Johnny Ruffo, Jessica Mauboy and Justice Crew, while other names who got covered in slime included Rachael Finch, newlywed Brian McFadden, and Commando and Tiffiny Hall from The Biggest Loser. The event also set a new Guinness World Record for the most people slimed simultaneously over the two music shows.
Oh, those celebrities are a clever bunch. They can act, sing, dance, design and host television shows with no trouble at all . . . and as Twitter shows, many have a serious sense of humour, too. This week, Nicole Richie made us laugh with her tongue-in-cheek assessment of her therapist, her husband Joel Madden had a run in with a bird, and Ricky Gervais got tricky when it came to getting his followers to re-tweet him. But we won't give it all away — there are many more witty celebs to have a giggle at in this gallery, so get clicking!
Jesinta Campbell, Jules Sebastian and Kate Waterhouse joined more of Sydney’s style set for the launch of 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty at Town Hall last night. Despite being linked to some of Australia’s most eligible bachelors, Jesinta recently confirmed that she’s single and frustrated at reports of who she’s dating. She told the Herald Sun, “Last week I was dating some actor [PJ Lane] who I met once before at an event. I have been single a long time. I think when people see me tweet someone or see me out with someone, they think I'm dating them, but I'm not seeing anyone.” Jules enjoyed a girls’ night out without the main men in her life, husband Guy and son Hudson, and was the subject of a Twitter prank when Guy hacked into her account yesterday. Also at the launch event were Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Michelle Bridges and Sophie Falkiner.
The very lovely Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel hosted a yoga event in New York City this week as part of the Body by Victoria launch, and boy is her body smoking! Selena Gomez got a new haircut and went for a thick fringe which we think looks amazing on her; and Stephanie Rice treated herself to a Star Bucks drink to celebrate the end of her Olympics swimming commitments. We also met YouTube makeup tutorial star Michelle Phan in Sydney, and we loved seeing her cute uploads from her tour. We love it when our local ladies step out and shine on the red carpet, and that's just what happened this week at the MTV photo call in Melbourne. TV darling and DJ Ruby Rose wore her short locks slicked back with natural makeup, and new VJ Jules Sebastian (yes, Guy's wife!), had a sweet up 'do that sat high at the top — one we're keen to try at home. Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard were stand outs for their red carpet beauty efforts at the European premiere of The Dark Knight Rises, but there's still more to see... won't you join us?
