The third annual Critics' Choice Television Awards presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association were held at the Beverly Hilton in LA today to honour small screen achievements. A whole host of stars were up for honours, including Kaley Cuoco for best supporting actress in a comedy for The Big Bang Theory, which racked up six total nominations. Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus went up against Amy Poehler, Lena Dunham, Zooey Deschanel and others in the best actress in a comedy category while Elisabeth Moss earned two nods, one for Mad Men and the other for her role in the miniseries, Top of the Lake. Diane Kruger was on hand in a Nina Ricci dress and Malin Akerman make her second red carpet appearance since welcoming her son Sebastian in April. There were plenty more TV stars on hand for the awards ceremony and we were on the red carpet so stay tuned for more from the big event!

Zoe Saldana, Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts and Nina Dobrev were all on hand to support their respective stylists for The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Most Powerful Stylists event today. Kaley Cuoco, Abbie Cornish and Dianna Agron were also in attendance to celebrate. The annual luncheon, which was held at LA's SoHo House, was hosted by Jimmy Choo and honours the most successful celebrity stylists of the year. This year's list includes heavy-hitters like Brad Goreski, L'Wren Scott and Rachel Zoe, who was recognised for dressing Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Garner this awards season.

The actresses all arrived in style, and most paired their pretty daytime looks with Jimmy Choo accessories. Reese posed with her stylist Leslie Fremar, who also dresses stars like Charlize Theron and Julianne Moore, while Kaley Cuoco stuck close to her fashion guru, Tara Swennen, who counts Kristen Stewart as one of her clients. Nina, who wore a red Max Mara jumpsuit, chatted with Zoe Saldana during the event, and shared photos of herself at the event on her Twitter page, including one with stylist Ilaria Urbinati.

Awards season got off to a good start with the 2013 People's Choice Awards in LA yesterday. The show was full of big wins, plus plenty of laughs from host Kaley Cuoco and some of her celebrity pals. Jennifer Aniston won favourite comedic movie actress, while Jennifer Lawrence took home favourite dramatic movie actress for The Hunger Games, and the film itself picked up best movie and favourite action movie. The Wanted surprisingly beat out One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen for favourite breakout artist, and Sandra Bullock was honoured for her humanitarian work in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Sandra teared up while receiving her award, mentioning that the number one reason she loves NOLA is because of "a little sick boy at home who is my man," referring to her son Louis. There were many more statues handed out, so be sure to check out all the People's Choice Award winners.

Other notable moments from the awards show included Happy Endings star Carly Wilson claiming Ian Somerhalder as her boyfriend, Adam Sandler inviting the audience over to Jennifer Aniston's house for pizza, and Jennifer Lawrence declaring that she wishes she was in Mean Girls so she could break her award and hand pieces out to everyone in the audience. There were also performances by Alicia Keys, Jason Aldean and Christina Aguilera. She went for a bare nail that was accented with a chromatic gold tip. To re-create her look, the key is to start off with a flattering base coat, such as Butter London's Nail Foundation ($24.95). This subtly tinted polish will hide any imperfections in the nail but still allow your natural nail to show through. Once you apply your base coat, use a metallic gold polish, like Ciaté Sand Dune (approx $15.30), to polish the tip. Finish the look with a glossy top coat for a "polished" look.
