When you think of a true Aussie survivor, chances are you'll be thinking about one Miss Kylie Minogue. At the age of 44 (and looking better than ever!), Kylie is still at the forefront of style, particularly where beauty is concerned. Whether she's been rocking a mad '80s perm, donning a peroxided 'do or pulling off '50s curls, Kylie's hair has been copied the world over — not to mention her always-gorgeous makeup looks. But aside from surviving some more questionable 'dos, our Kylie has also pulled through something far more serious: breast cancer. Never once losing her grace, charm and effortless beauty, we've always been in awe of Miss Minogue's strength. October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we thought it would be a great time to celebrate Kylie's best hair and beauty moments with a retrospective gallery, spanning all the way back to when she first burst into our lives in 1988. Click through the slides, and enjoy the many looks of our very own princess of pop!

Your daily dose of what's happening in Cannes is here! Nicole Kidman wowed with not one, but two ace looks — firstly a jewelled barrette and secondly an SJP-esque big bun — while promoting The Paperboy. Diane Kruger looked as amazing as ever with a beautiful bronzed eye at the Nights in Monaco Party. And the Fash Pack got glammed up for a good cause for the oh-so-chic amFAR Cinema Against AIDS gala. We saw braids, up 'dos, red lips and more.
Yet More Gorgeous Cannes Film Festival Beauty Looks Up Close

Kylie Minogue Gets a '60s Makeover for Stylist Magazine
Pint-sized songstress Kylie Minogue channels a 1960s bombshell for one of her three covers for the latest issue of Stylist magazine, in celebration of 25 years in the music biz. Kylie undertook a glamorous transformation for the shoot, sporting the iconic Barbarella-esque 'do, with bouncy retro curls spilling out from her teased-to-oblivion bouffant fringe, courtesy of hairstylist Danilo. Kabuki, who makes up the likes of Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow, applied a sultry and smoky winged-out cat eyeliner to provide the perfect finishing touch. Kylie Minogue Dabbles With Her Dark Side in the City of Lights

Kylie Minogue's never been one to shy away from a style switcheroo, sporting pretty much every hair colour, cut and style over the years. And whilst in Paris for the Yves Saint Laurent Spring 2012 show, the pint-sized popstar showed off her latest look: a dark brown hair hue. It's not the first time that Kylie's gone over to the dark side, but she's been blonde for most of her career. What do you think of her new look: ooh la la, j'adore or sacré bleu, switch back stat?
All the Beauty Looks From the GQ Men of the Year Awards!
The British GQ Men of the Year Awards took place in London last night at The Royal Opera House and some big names (including Emma Watson and Charlize Theron) came out to help the guys celebrate! There seemed to be a love for lilac on the eyes with Kylie Minogue, Sophie Dahl and Pixie Lott all sporting the hue and the other big beauty trend was red lips, which always rock on the red carpet.
Mighty Aphrodite: Kylie Wows As a Greek Goddess on Tour!

Saturday night saw Kylie kick off her Aphrodite Les Folies tour in Denmark. With Greek mythology as its theme, 42-year-old Kyles showed the world why she's our favourite pint-sized popstar, performing classic hits alongside some more recent releases. Channelling Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" painting — though with slightly more clothes on — Ms. Minogue wore her hair curly, with a beaded and braided headpiece, as well as some angel ears! We can't wait for the Aussie dates! What do you think of Kylie's Grecian goddess look? Is it a winner or not?
Jingle Bells! Kylie is LOVING the Hair Extensions This Xmas!

'Tis the season to wear hair extenions, fa la la la la . . . Umm, is it just us or is Kylie's look getting more and more out-there this Party Season? At the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting in NYC late last month, the pint-sized popstar matched her yeti coat (forgivable given the temperatures) with a Rapunzel-esque twisted ponytail (well Tangled is all the rage right now) and the kind of fringe that Ace Ventura would be proud of. It was definitely different. Even her makeup looked more Charlene than Kylie. But we thought the usually-glamorous Kyles was just having an off day. Until we saw her at last night's Jingle Bell Ball in London, where she whipped out another head of hair extensions and teamed them with a cone bra corset and statement orangey-red lipstick. Then we got it. Festive and fabulous = hair extenions to Kylie. What say you, should Kylie ditch the va va voom extensions and opt for a more natural look or do you like that she's embraced the Christmas spirit and think everyone should up the glitz?
Trend Alert: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark . . . Polish, That Is
If you're going to try a really dark, bold colour on your nails — like heaps of celebs, including Kylie, have been wearing of late — it's not always as easy as it looks. Because while basic black looks fine on everyone, it may not send the message you want. So to help you pick out a shade that'll fulfil your dark desires and look trendy instead of harsh, we've compiled a list . . .
Hint o' red: Try something with a shot of red, like Butter London Nail Lacquer in Old Blighty ($19.94) if you want a colour that's vibrant and sexy, but still on the dark side.
Stay cool: A dark grey or purple is great if you have cool-toned skin because it will complement your natural colouring. Try Chanel Le Vernis in Steel ($39) or ORLY Purple Velvet ($18.95).
Better the Backcomb You Know; Kylie Pumps Up the Volume

Kylie Minogue is adding August cover girl of Out Magazine to that world domination plan of hers. All red lipstick and bouffant hair, it's part Tom Ford ad, part '80s throwback. LOVE. Particularly the gorgeous metallic fawn shadow. Try Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Ash ($44) for something similar. The rest screams Chanel to me. Matching red lips and nails were seen at the Chanel Fall 2010 Couture collection, while my little eyes have spied a similar bouffant, again at one of Kaiser Karl's shows. In the interview the new Auntie to gorgeous baby Ethan talks Aphrodite, Lady Gaga (whom she calls "brilliant") and cracking it when people say she hasn't yet conquered the US. Looking fierce, Kyles, looking fierce. Don't you think?
