Trend Alert: NYC Taxi Cab-Coloured Nails

Forget bold neon or even pastel.

Forget bold neon or even pastel. This season's yellow nail polish look is a pure, unadulterated take on the bright, cheery hue. Think: NYC taxi cab, buttercup-flower yellow. Seen recently on stars like Leona Lewis (left), Jenna Elfman (upper right) and Jessica Szohr (lower right), the warm-coloUred polish is a great accent to Summer's breezy wardrobe choices. To add a little flair, take a note from Jessica, who opted to pair her two-tone polish look with an orange hue. There's nothing mellow about yellow. Try: Darling Rubber Duckie ($18.95) or Zoya Creamy ($19).

Michael Jackson’s life, music and legacy were celebrated on Saturday night with the Michael Forever tribute concert held at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in Wales. Artists who were inspired by the King of Pop sang some of his greatest hits in front of a crowd of 50,000 fans, including Christina Aguilera (“Smile” and “Dirty Diana”), Jamie Foxx (“Rock With You”), Ne-Yo (“Billie Jean”), Cee Lo Green (“I Can’t Help It”) and Leona Lewis (“Strangers in Moscow”). Members of Michael’s family were also on hand to perform and introduce acts, including his brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie, who belted out “Blame It on the Boogie” by the Jackson 5, and La Toya Jackson, who sang “In the Closet.” A highlight of the night was when Michael’s kids Prince, Blanket and Paris took to the stage to introduce a video performance by Beyoncé. Paris said, “We’re very happy to be here on this special night to honour our father . . . She [Beyoncé] carries the torch lit by our father and it gives me great pleasure to introduce this woman.” The timing of the concert wasn’t ideal as it took place in the middle of Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial, but it was still a great night filled with tributes to Michael.

The Bodyguard Remake Casting Options Including Beyonce, Matthew McConaughey, Rihanna, Ryan Phillippe

The big movie news today is once again about a remake, and this time, it's the 1992 romance The Bodyguard that's being redone. Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner star in the original as a pop star and the man hired to protect her, who of course fall in love along the way. This new version will update the story by making the leading man a former Iraq war veteran whose first job back is this bodyguard gig, while producers are seeking a young female singer to play opposite him. Since no one has been cast as the leads yet, we thought we'd play casting agent matchmaker and tell you who we'd love to see together. What do you think of these picks?
