It may take you a moment to recognise LOVE magazine's latest cover star, Jessica Brown Findlay, who is best known for playing Lady Sybil in Downton Abbey. Gone are the formal hairstyles, the satin gloves and the pared-back palette and in their place a part other-worldly, part-gothic makeover that's been beautifully captured by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Styled by Katie Grand, Jessica's full lips are painted in a rich berry stain which juxtaposes the whited-out complexion. In another teaser cover shot released earlier, Jessica literally plays a blushing bride with vibrant powder all over her veil, temples and décolletage.
