When we're talking swimsuit runway, there's nothing more important than the skin. St. Tropez looked after the perfect glow seen on the We Are Handsome runway, while Maybelline NY's Nigel Stanislaus created two makeup looks to complement the fun, upbeat swimwear collection. Think luxury vamp and '70s Guy Bourdin photography — glossy red lips and emerald eyes. Let's go!
We're kicking-off Australia Day with none other than the beautiful Kate Ritchie. The ex-soapy star and radio presenter is now hard at work on a different aspect of the media and entertainment industry — writing — but she's also set to sit back in the acting chair for a new ABC drama. We spoke to the stunning brunette about her favourite products and found out what it's like to live a day in her life.

We're fresh back from some much needed time off, but while we were reading books in Bali and ringing in the New Year with our best bright lip, the beauty world didn't stop. There's a bunch of new products on shelf and we've edited them all down to the 10 we think you'll love just as much as we did! From a mascara that really is hypnotically good to next generation skincare, click through.
We met with Kai Vinson, international director of artistry and education at Bobbi Brown, and quizzed him on everything from the daytime smoky eye to makeup-in-two-minutes; but we also asked a question on behalf of Pop's editor, Jess, who has trouble getting a defined curl through her Asian lashes, and also getting eyeliner to stay put. True to his makeup guru form, Kai had a lot of suggestions. Click through to find out his tips for perfect makeup application on Asian eyes.
There's no ignoring this beauty colour trend: blue. There's the countless blue eyeshadow looks we've seen at the Spring 2013 shows — from Alice + Olivia to Anna Sui, Monique Lhuillier and Jenny Packham — not to mention the celebrity red carpet adaptations we noticed yesterday at the Emmy Awards on stars including Nicole Kidman and January Jones. Even Versus went with a bright blue eye at Milan fashion week over the weekend, as did Moschino Cheap & Chic in London the week before. Then there's the blue nail colour offerings from top brands including Orly and OPI that have us in a seriously polished spin. So from turquoise to the deepest of the deep, blue sea — are you ready to get a little moody?
We've been backstage again this week — this time at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney. Set up in conjunction with the store drops of all the looks we saw at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in May, the Festival runs all week and is just as fast and fabulous the second time around.
Maybelline NY's makeup director Nigel Stanislaus created four beauty looks to be used in all the shows, and each one embodies a different woman. "I think it’s appropriate," said Nigel. "We are the embellishment."
The corresponding hair looks were created by Redken hair directors Jon Pulitano and Richard Kavanagh, together with Jodi Nicholson, Lorna Evans, Maria Ardino and Paloma Rose Garcia.

We've been loving Jennifer Hawkins' looks since way back in the day, but none more so than what we saw on the catwalk at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival this week. Walking for Myer, Jen looked sleek in a sass & bide dress, but it was her chic and sexy — yet totally natural — beauty look that stopped us in our tracks. We thought you might love it too, so we've tracked down ten beauty products that will give you gorgeous Jen's look. And the best part is, each and every product is under $20! We reckon you deserve a night out . . . How very convenient that it's Saturday and you have a new makeup look to try!
We've been admiring the beauty looks from both backstage and front row this week at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney. Maybelline NY's makeup director Nigel Stanislaus created four beauty looks to be used in all the shows, and each one embodies a different woman. We've got the very beautiful face charts for you to snoop — click through to see all four looks and find out what Nigel had to say about each one.
