The Missoni mission for Spring 2011 was simple: create a globe-trotting beauty. Hence the dishevelled hair that we're starting to see crop up a LOT in Milan. It's a little bit wavy, a little bit flyaway, a little bit windswept. Luxe boho I'd say. It was paired with an ever-so-light smoky eye that will suit everyone. Honestly I urge those who tend to avoid the classic look (umm, me) to give it a whirl. Lucia Pieroni, working for MAC, made it seem ever so simple. She blended out some black eyeliner and grey shadow from the lash line, which you can then finish with a little mascara or not. Whatevs. Your choice. I like it because it's not too over-powering. It doesn't cover the entire lid and socket. Plus, it takes two seconds to do. I tried. What say you?
