Michelle Williams arrived on the carpet at the Oscars in a strapless Louis Vuitton gown! It's the last stop in a busy awards season for Michelle, who's up for a best actress statue thanks to her role in My Week With Marilyn. It's already been a winning weekend for Michelle. She won best actress at yesterday's Independent Spirit Awards, and during her acceptance speech, she thanked the "dreamers," "dropouts," and "delinquents" in the room. We'll see if today brings another accolade to Michelle's busy awards season. Win or lose, she'll make the rounds this evening with her BFF and constant companion, Busy Philipps. Busy has accompanied Michelle to so many parties and ceremonies this year that her young daughter, Birdie, recently said jokingly, "Mama, Michelle is nominated for too much stuff." Weigh in on Michelle's look by voting on Fab and Bella's polls.
My Week With Marilyn: Michelle Williams Brings Back the Magic of Monroe
In My Week With Marilyn, Michelle Williams takes on the formidable challenge of playing '50s screen siren Marilyn Monroe. She proves that she's capable and delivers a performance that goes beyond mimicking Monroe; Williams creates a character that you appreciate outside of the real person. The film follows Marilyn while she was in the UK filming the 1957 movie The Prince and the Showgirl opposite Laurence Olivier, but the story is told from someone far less famous than those Hollywood legends. Colin Clark (played by Eddie Redmayne), a young production assistant on the film, wrote the memoir the film is based on, and the story — and impression of Marilyn — are all from his perspective.

The shooting of the film doesn't go smoothly, due to the difficulties caused by Monroe's acting insecurities. She frustrates Olivier, who is not just her leading man, but also director and producer. Marilyn needs constant support, but when her new husband Arthur Miller has to go back to the US to work, she has to find it elsewhere, and takes a shine to Colin. They become friends and confidantes for a week, and they're a magical few days for Colin. Though he experiences ups and downs with the actress, he still falls for the woman easily, in much the same way that I fell for this lovely film. Michelle Williams Goes Girly in Parisienne Pink: Thoughts?
Michelle Williams usually sticks to sleeker silhouettes on the red carpet, but for the My Week With Marilyn premiere in France, the actress opted for a more feminine approach. Her pink Christian Dior gown showed no shortage of embellishments; from the bow detail up top to the silver metallic floral embroidery, this dress was an eyeful to take in. For accessories, Michelle chose a pair of silver peep-toe pumps, a bold red lip, and matching nails. We're torn on how we feel about this ensemble, so take a look at the slideshow for more close-up shots, then tell us what you think in the comments section below.
Seeing Red: Michelle Williams Rouges It Up in Paris

Michelle Williams looked magnifique at the Parisian premiere of My Week With Marilyn. Held at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan last night, the 31-year-old teamed her soft pixie crop with sparkling gunmetal liner and a raspberry red lip. It's a slightly fresher and flirtier look than the blood red she sported at the BAFTAs earlier this week and we love how she's continued the colour theme with co-ordinating nails. It's also a stellar example of how well red works on pink.
Michelle Williams Looks Pretty in Pink for My Week With Marilyn in Paris
Michelle Williams and her My Week With Marilyn director Simon Curtis hit the red carpet in Paris last night for the French premiere of their film. Michelle, dressed in a pink Christian Dior gown, beamed while fans screamed her name outside Cinema Gaumont Marignan. The actress has been in Europe since Sunday when she attended the star-studded BAFTA Awards. She lost the best actress statue to The Iron Lady's Meryl Streep, but Michelle will get another chance later this month at the Academy Awards. Both women are nominated for their leading roles along with Viola Davis, Glenn Close, and Rooney Mara. Michelle Williams Talks Being Sexy and Marilyn Monroe in GQ

She's just been awarded her first Golden Globe for her portrayal as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn, and she's stripped down to her lingerie and taken on the platinum bombshell bob, bold red lip and dark lashes again for the February issue of US GQ magazine. Along with talking about her relationship with Heath Ledger and daughter Matilda, Michelle discussed playing the Hollywood icon, and moving away from sexier roles in both TV and film. "I wouldn't say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being — being sexy . . . and I think because my character on Dawson's Creek was sexy . . . sexualised . . . sexual . . . I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly." It's not the first time Michelle has donned the signature Marilyn Monroe look for a magazine — she appeared in the October US Vogue issue in a similar fashion.
