Stars spent the holidays in bikinis on tropical beaches, sharing PDA, and ringing in 2013 across the globe. Newly-pregnant Jenna Dewan stuck close to her husband Channing Tatum in St Barts (one couple of many who chose the French West Indies island as their getaway location) while Taylor Swift and beau Harry Styles snuggled up in New York. Miranda Kerr was a stylish ray of sunshine when she hit Los Feliz in California and Jessica Simpson was proud to show off her latest (surprise) baby bump. Jay-Z and Coldplay rang in 2013 together with a joint New Year's Eve concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Monday night. Coldplay played the first set while Jay-Z took the stage shortly before midnight. Jay-Z and Chris Martin joined up for the countdown and to sing "Auld Lang Syne." Once Chris was finished belting out the New Year's staple, he flowed into Jay-Z's "Run This Town," filling in for Rihanna's chorus. While Jay-Z and Chris were rocking, Chris's wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and their children, Apple and Moses, danced on stage. They weren't the only celebrities in the audience since Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted chatting with Jay-Z backstage and Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, were also on hand. Once the concert was over, Chris and Jay-Z headed to the 40/40 Club for an afterparty without Gwyneth, who headed home with Apple and Moses.

It was a wild night around the globe with the celebration of New Year's Eve, and stars got in on the action too. Kim Kardashian hosted a bash at Las Vegas's 1 Oak nightclub on New Year's Eve. She was joined by boyfriend Kanye West and her mum Kris Jenner as well as pals Brittny Gastineau, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen. Kim and Kanye had even more than just the New Year to celebrate since they announced over the weekend that they're expecting their first child together. It doesn't look like Kim's pregnancy hasn't slowed her down since she's been on the go in recent days. She travelled to Atlantic City, where Kanye performed, and then headed back to LA yesterday before making her first public appearance in Sin City since the exciting news. Kim shared that she hasn't had any morning sickness adding, "People always say it's easy and fun. It's definitely an adjustment learning about your body and stuff like that. I've been feeling really good so that's good."

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill soaked up the sunshine during a luxurious boat ride on Sydney Harbour on Friday. The Django Unchained co-stars also had the company of Hollywood friends Lukas Haas and Kevin Connolly, and spent the day partying with bikini-clad women as they made their way to The Island. Earlier in the day they arrived on a private jet with Jamie Foxx, which was reportedly organised by The Star, where the celebrities will be spending New Year's Eve tonight. They'll join a host of other announced stars including Chace Crawford, Matthew Morrison, Colton Haynes and Samantha Ronson, who will all be making appearances at Marquee.

It seems that Leo, Jonah et al will be very busy on New Year's Eve, with the Sunday Telegraph reporting that they'll be flown back to Las Vegas straight after the midnight countdown so they can ring in 2013 in the US as well.

Chace Crawford made a casual arrival at Sydney Airport yesterday in jeans and a grey tee. It’s the second time this year that the Gossip Girl star has been in Australia — in April he made the trip for a quick promotional visit as the face of Diet Coke, and at the time he posed for photos with hundreds of fans at a special booth in Martin Place. This time Chace is spending a few more days in the city in the lead-up to Marquee’s big New Year’s Eve celebrations on Monday night, where he’ll be a VIP guest. He’ll also be joined by Glee’s Matthew Morrison and Teen Wolf’s Colton Haynes, who also arrived yesterday.
