Gisele Bündchen, Pantene's spokeswoman in her home country of Brazil, announced today that Procter & Gamble will be making some changes. Over the next two years, look for the packaging for Pantene Pro-V, CoverGirl and Max Factor to go green.
In lieu of the more traditional petroleum-based plastic, packaging will be made from renewable Brazilian sugarcane.

So there's a man called Barney Martin who you may or may not have had the pleasure of meeting/hearing about. He has a little hair salon tucked away in Surry Hills and is Pantene's Expert Stylist because he's rather handy with a hairdryer (and all the other tools that mega famous hairstylists use). He's back in his homeland at the mo, creating hairstyles with Sam McKnight and the like (a bit of rhyming never goes amiss on a Thursday afternoon) for LFW.
It's hard to please everyone at Fashion Week. You've got to match the makeup to the clothes, make sure that there's something wearable about the whole look (for RTW at least), yet try to make it all look runway-worthy. 'Tis not an easy task, but I think Nicole Farhi might just have done it.

It's pretty safe to say that last night's 2009 MTV VMAs were one of the most entertaining in recent history. You had your Kanye outburst, Pink's Cirque du Soleil-style act, Lady Gaga's bloody performance, and cast members from Twilight taking the stage to premiere the New Moon trailer. (And in case you didn't hear the buzz, it was also a night for Kristen Stewart to cozy up with costar Robert Pattinson backstage.) At first, it looked like Kristen had chopped her Joan Jett-esque locks, but alas, it was just the mastery of Pantetne celebrity stylist Hallie Bowman, who created this edgy, faux-bowl-cut style with a modern feel.
