The fash pack have been tweeting up a storm as they watched Lady Gaga take to the catwalk for Thierry Mugler's A/W 2011 show in Paris that just this second took place. We caught the livestream show and were praying she didn't fall in those KILLER heels, but peeps, this is Lady Gaga we're talking about. She's a pro. Dancing raunchily on stage, Lady G was swinging her ultra-long pigtails as she went. She walked the runway twice, the second time without the hat but smoking a cigarette. Gaga, oh la la. Don't you know that's bad for your skin! Both times she rocked a scarily sharp mani — maybe that's how she was preparing to deal with critics!

It's been eight months since Alexander McQueen's death, but his right-hand woman, Sarah Burton, stepped in to carry on the house's legacy and yesterday's show in Paris marked her debut as head designer. Models walked the runway looking like medieval princesses, wearing intricately woven bonnet-style hair 'dos that were fashioned into pigtails and a simple makeup palette. Skin was matte, brows and lashes left undefined, lips were bare and there was a light dusting of white-gold shadow on the lids. The look was topped off with metallic gold nail. Originally this post was going to be all about Vanessa Hudgens' hair. Because well it's pretty and she wore it two different ways on the very same day. But then I saw her nails. At first you'd be forgiven for thinking the same as me. Cute turquoise honey, is it Chanel Nouvelle Vague? But look a little closer. There's metallic glittering bronze on her ring finger. (Side note: is it still called a ring finger if it's on your right hand? Answers on a postcard, please.) It matches her pedi, don't you know. So now you'll see why this post has had to evolve to cover both issues. We're all for a bit of freestylin' here. So, what I want you to do is vote below on which hairstyle you like best: the cute 'lil pigtails that she wore to the Sucker Punch cocktail party or her standard issue tousled waves that she wore to an event on day three of Comic-Con international.
