If there was one eye shadow look that dominated this week's red carpets, then it was violet. But it wasn't just one tone or texture of the cool-coloured hue that took the lead; there were several adaptations. Kelly Rowland added a pop of plum to the outer creases of her eyes for a bright lift. Emma Stone, on the other hand, played up her light green eyes, encircling them completely with a shimmery lilac shadow. For Katy Perry, it was all about a smoked-out effect, with deep, matte eggplant lending a sexy vibe to her flapper-esque ensemble. But whose violet eye shadow look came out victorious?
