Secondly, everyone got quite a scare when news circulated that rapper Lil Wayne was on his deathbed — many celebrities (including Ricki-Lee) tweeted kind words and well-wishes, while his close friend tweeted the facts. A slew of Australian stars dined and partied at Criniti’s in Darling Harbour, Sydney, to celebrate the Italian restaurant’s 10th birthday last night. Rachael Finch made her first public appearance after announcing in this week’s issue of New Idea that she’s pregnant — on the red carpet the former Miss Universe Australia said she’s “hoping for a baby boy,” and kept her growing bump hidden under a peplum dress. Home and Away was well-represented by popular stars Dan Ewing, with his wife Marni, and Rhiannon Fish, who attended Future Music Festival on the weekend with her boyfriend, Reece Mastin. Ricki-Lee Coulter kept herself hydrated by sipping on a Long Island Iced Tea served in a Leaning Tower of Pisa glass, Charlotte Dawson mingled in the crowd, and Samantha Jade entertained the guests with a performance of her hit “What You’ve Done to Me.” Click through for all the party action.

Sydney’s annual Mardi Gras was held on Saturday night and some of our favourite Aussie stars braved the rain and turned out for the big event. Delta Goodrem attended her first ever Mardi Gras — her schedule has been too busy in the past — and headlined the parade’s after party. This week in the world of social media, we caught up with our favourite snap-happy stars during their moments of work and play. Isabelle Cornish and her friend and co-star Charlotte Best shared a laugh as they took selfies ahead of the AACTA Awards on Wednesday night. Ricki-Lee Coulter hit Japan for a promotional tour and spent some time signing autographs for fans, while Reece Mastin treated his "lil' rocker" fans to an up-close-and-personal shot of his face. Models Miranda Kerr and Chrissy Teigen both hit the beach this week and shared photos of themselves in sexy bikinis, and cute friends Phoebe Tonkin and Teresa Palmer looked closer than ever at Teresa's movie premiere.

Australian stars were all about showcasing their national pride when we celebrated Australia Day on Saturday.
