The week kicked-off with the very fashionable CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, and Ashley Olsen was a clear stand-out in the race to make this week's most beautiful list. Her natural brows and rose gold cream shadow made up the stuff of dreams. Fellow attendee Jourdan Dunn was also rocking a rustic and romantic look of bronze smoky eyes and plum lips. We're refusing to get over Lily Collins — how does someone enter this world so insanely pretty?! And then there was that little old fashion show, Victoria's Secret. . . Step right in.
When Nicole Richie and Alexa Chung make a best dressed list, you know there's been some great frock-watching this week. With the style set celebrating the Vogue and CFDA Fashion Fund Gala, taking to the red carpet for Glamour, dressing up for the BABY2BABY gala and stepping out off-duty in equally covetable outfits, there's a lot to look at in this gallery.
In this week's top ten, Rose Byrne delivers one red-hot look, Nicole Richie ticks off the season's midriff trend in Alberta Ferretti Spring 2014 and Alexa Chung was (as usual) perfectly polished in London. But don't let us hold you up, this week's best celeb looks are a click away. Let's go!
It was a major night for stars and fashion at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, held at New York's Carnegie Hall. With style stand-outs like Rose Byrne (in Jonathan Saunders), Liya Kebede (in Proenza Schouler), and Lily Collins (in Julien Macdonald) taking the spotlight for the empowering night, finding a favourite honouree was a difficult task.
See what all the women wore, and find out why the 2013 ceremony will be one we'll be discussing long into next year (we're talking to you, Lady Gaga!).
Some of Hollywood's finest ladies are today celebrating at Glamour magazine's 23rd Annual Women of the Year Awards. Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham and Lily Collins make up but a few of the particularly pretty crowd, with Australian beauty Rose Byrne holding her own in the hair and makeup stakes. But, when doesn't she? Step on in for some afternoon delight.
Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long made their relationship official when they made their first joint event appearance at the LAByrinth Theater Company's annual celebrity charades benefit in NYC on Monday night. Amanda and Justin joined Saturday Night Live stars Bobby Moynihan and Rachel Dratch, as well as Rose Byrne and her Emmy-winning boyfriend, Bobby Cannavale, on the stage for a round of lively games. While Amanda looked happy to play with her beau at the bash, she gave some insight into one of her relationship no-nos when she tweeted sage love advice earlier this month, writing, "Stop tweeting your significant other." Maybe Amanda's tweet reveals why Justin rarely tweets at his blonde lady, except when it's to praise her performance in Lovelace.
Still sporting stick-straight locks? Change it up, pronto — that's the memo coming from our favourite beauties this week! Showing us how it's done when it comes to throwing a bit of texture into a look, Rose Byrne stole all the attention on the Emmy Awards red carpet on Monday, with her modern take on '90s makeup. Joining her up the top of our list was Jessica Alba, who debuted newly-ombre ends and a seriously golden glow last night. We can't decide which look we like best! There are eight more stunners rounding out our Top 10 — click through to see their killer looks!
Not that we need reminding, but Australian women really are leading the style the pack at the moment. All the proof you need ir right here, with Rose Byrne, Miranda Kerr and Christine Centenera giving us some of our absolute favourite looks of the week. Miranda's look was (believe it or not) just her regular work-day attire — but it was anything but average — while Rose Byrne's simple Emmy Awards gown was one of the best on a red carpet full of dramatic gowns. Christine is a seasoned fashion week style setter, and she didn't let us down this week in Paris. As for the international stars? Taylor Swift wowed us in a beautiful tea dress that we couldn't take our eyes off. Click through to see this week's Top 10 best dressed stars!
We're only just catching our collective breath now, with a big week of celebrity events keeping us very much entertained. The Emmy Awards on Monday brought out the likes of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Rose Byrne and her boyfriend, Baordwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale, and Will Ferrell — with some unexpected guests in tow. The Australia's Next Top Model finale was held on Tuesday night, and Jennifer Hawkins was on hand to announce the winner, while the Brownlow Awards sent lots of lovely ladies down the red carpet in their best dresses. In between? We saw bikini bodies, Miley Cyrus' nearly nude body, celebs who've just given birth returning to the spotlight, Miranda Kerr and her cute family strolling the streets of New York and much more. Click through to see it all!
Rose Byrne was picture perfect on the red carpet at the 2013 Emmy Awards, and part of that was due to her stylist, Harry Josh. Harry, in addition to taming the coifs of celebrities, has a new hair dryer that practically everyone is raving about (hello, Miranda Kerr!), so he knows a thing or two about how to give good hair. Harry walks us through, step by step, how to achieve Rose's disco waves — they were inspired by a photo of Bianca Jagger in the '70s — and made them wearable and modern for the red carpet.
