We're stepping things up in our budget bonanza to a cool $25. Still pretty reasonable, we think, especially for some of these skincare saviours. From tools you'll need for your very own at-home facial to do-it-all face creams, there's something for every budget, every level of effort you're willing to make, and every skin type. Check it out and tell us your fave buys now!
We don't want to take up too much of your time as we think you should be chillaxing and maybe munching on a chocolate egg (or two!) but we just wanted to wish you a happy Easter!
And please do not judge us if we come back on Wednesday resembling the Porky Rabbit from our beloved Steamcream — we've never been good at saying no to delicious choccies!
Since 1994 World Vegan Day has been celebrated in Australia and worldwide on November 1. And in turn more and more beauty brands are jumping on board and introducing vegan beauty products. Lush has been leading the way, but closer to home Inika Mineral Cosmetics are known for their vegan products that include brushes, lipsticks and much more. And don't go thinking vegan equals lame and hessian packed. Just check out Steamcream to see it can be cult, cute and collectable . . .
Say hello to your new BFF . . . STEAMCREAM. It's a light, non-greasy face-body-and-hand lotion that uses an extremely rare manufacturing process: stream-infusion. This old French technique allows the ingredients to loosely bind together so that they absorb into the skin quickly and immediately get to the areas that they're designed to benefit. The base of the emulsion is oatmeal so it's super soothing and great for those suffering from eczema, psoriasis or any other kind of skin irritation. Orange flower and glycerine hydrate also deeply moisturise, while almond oil, jojoba oil and cocoa butter soften the skin. But the brand is known for its super kitsch packagaing as much as its innovative technology, rolling out over 100 aluminium tin designs since its launch in 2007. Five limited edition designs will hit Australian shelves this month with a view to update and replace them every month. Cute, huh? Which one's your fave?
