Crown Oaks Day is the race day that’s all about the ladies, and some of our favourite stars have returned to Flemington Racecourse or made their way there for the first time this Spring racing season. Myer’s stable of ambassadors, Jennifer Hawkins, Kris Smith and Rebecca Judd, made a very good-looking trio, and Ricki-Lee prepared to perform at one of the marquees. Just as the Melbourne Cup had some international star power thanks to Hollywood actresses Mischa Barton and Ashley Madekwe, Oaks Day's special guests include Kim Cattrall and Mena Suvari. The celebrity set are back at Flemington Racecourse for Crown Oaks Day today, after launching the event at a fancy lunch yesterday. Myer ambassador Jennifer Hawkins looked divine in a floral headpiece by Flowers by Fleur, while fellow Myer ambassador Rebecca Judd wore Melissa Jackson millinery. Both celebrity stunners wore their hair in loose, beachy waves, and kept their nails relatively neutral - a huge trend for Spring. Delta Goodrem and Mischa Barton both went for bold lip looks at yesterday's luncheon, Delta for one proving the vampy lip need not be saved for Winter. We have been gushing over her starfish diamante headband, and love that she kept it simple with a side part and simple up 'do. Delta Goodrem Is In Bloom at the Melbourne Cup

Delta Goodrem stood out from the crowd in a bright Dior dress and floral garland at the Melbourne Cup today. The musician is an ambassador for Swisse Vitamins and attended because she had a commitment to perform, but after suffering a leg injury late last week Christie Whelan stepped in to sing Delta's song "Together We Are One." Delta had an accident with her vocal steamer on Friday afternoon and burned her leg just before her Sydney performance, and while she soldiered on with the first hour of the concert, the pain became too much and she had to stop. Wearing what looks to be real wreath of flowers in her hair, Delta Goodrem really does look like a child of the universe! We love her nod to the blue eye makeup look we saw all over the recent international runways, and her matte, pink lip complements her dark eyes really well. Ashley Madekwe Reunites With Mischa Barton at Melbourne Cup

Ashley Madekwe chose a white and spearmint Camilla and Marc dress for her Melbourne Cup debut. The visiting Revenge actress, who is a special guest of Channel Seven, linked up with Mischa Barton at the Emirates marquee, and it was a reunion for the two TV stars as they both starred in the short-lived series The Beautiful Life. Coincidentally Ashley’s character on TBL was called Marissa, the same as Mischa’s onscreen ego on The OC.
