Wearing a navy Oscar de la Renta gown, Amy Adams attended the 16th annual Hollywood Film Awards yesterday looking as radiant as ever in a peaches and cream makeup palette. Celebrity makeup artist Stephen Sollitto complemented the actress's colouring with warm pink cheeks and lips. But it was Amy's gorgeous glow that put her in the spotlight. Uncover the three items you need to achieve her lit-from-within style when you read more.
Chanel makeup artist Stephen Sollitto used the Chanel Mystic Eyes Quadra Eye as inspiration when creating the young Oscar nominee's look. He desribes Hailee as "poised, feminine, young, soft and yet strong . . . like a ballerina," saying that when he saw her Marchesa dress, his "inspiration came to life." This is how he did it . . .
SKIN: Stephen moisturised Hailee's skin with Chanel Beaute Initiale Energizing Multi Protection Cream. After letting that sit for a minute, he then applied Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Skin Perfecting Foundation in Beige-Tendre using a damp sponge.
EYES: Stephen applied a wash of Chanel Professional Eyeshadow Base in Beige over Hailee's lid and then used Chanel Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Cassis to define. To blend and soften the edges, he applied the deep plum shade from the Chanel Kaska Beige Quadra Eyeshadow before using a soft brush to blend the gold shade from the same palette under her lashes. This helped to off-set the pink. To finish up, he applied Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir.
