Another Teen Choice Awards has come to an end, leaving in its wake some nerdy fun with Zachary Levi, a sing along with Ashton Kutcher, and many a surfboard distributed to favourites in movies, TV, and music. The vampires and wizards called it a draw this year, as both Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I dominated the movie category with four wins apiece. Rupert Grint and Tom Felton represented Hogwarts, while a handful of the Twilight kids came out for the show, including Robert Pattinson, who took home the surfboard for choice movie actor in a drama.
Vampires also ruled the TV roost, with The Vampire Diaries taking home five awards, with Glee in a close second. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez seriously cleaned up in the musical category.
You've loved and hated your way through all the red carpet looks, checked 10 of the best manicures, seen Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez get all PDA on us and scoped our edit of the bold brights on display at the awards, now it's time for anything you may have missed. Catch RPatz, Cameron Diaz and the cast of The Vampire Diaries collect their awards, see Selena's change of headgear and be a fly on the wall at the funnest awards ceremony of the year!
At a red carpet event that honours the best of youth, we found our best-dressed winners were a mix of the young and of the eternally youthful. Nikita star Maggie Q showed that her natural Hawaiian beauty and sleek physique is still a force to be reckoned with, while the young Blake Lively won us over — again — with her insanely sexy, leather-clad bod. Seasoned red-carpet pros Rachel Bilson and Zoe Saldana proved it's chic to mix in surprising accessories for an unforgettable look, and last but not least, Cameron Diaz reminded us that style gets even better with age with a minimal look that looked natural, effortless, and totally gorgeous. One way to capitalize on red-carpet drama is right on your hemline. Demi Lovato, Kourtney Kardashian, and Selena Gomez all revealed dramatic lengths at today's Teen Choice Awards, joining the celebrity train gang with leg-baring, high-low hemlines and glamour-inducing trains. Unkindly known in some circles as a 'mullet' hemline, these short at the front/long at the back dresses were a popular style at today's frock-fest. Are you a fan?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got playful in their seats during today's Teen Choice Awards in LA. The hot young couple arrived separately, but met up once they got inside and sat side-by-side holding hands throughout. Justin sneaked in a few kisses with Selena when their duties didn't call them up to the stage. Both Justin and Selena were winners during the show, and she also performed "Love You Like A Love Song" with her band The Scene. Justin gave a big shout out to all his fans and proclaimed his faith as he stepped up to accept his surfboard from good friend Sean Kingston, who made his first official public outing since his jet ski accident earlier a few months ago. Selena had a handful of costume changes throughout the night, and her super short mini showed off a daring amount of leg as she cuddled up to Justin.
We've rated or hated our hearts out, and now it's time to start dissecting the looks on show from today's Teen Choice Awards. Given the fun-vibe the TC Awards usually carries, it makes sense that these stylish celebs opted for short and sexy styles. Cameron Diaz dazzled in ALC, Fergie went the star-spangled route in Dolce & Gabbana's signature print, Selena Gomez showed off her pins in a design by Erin Fetherston and Kendall Jenner looked oh-so grown up in local label Aurelio Costarella. Also on the "if you gotta it, flaunt it" bandwagon was Kim Kardashian and Avril Lavigne. Now that's a whole lotta leg on show!
Whilst Kim Kardashain and Avril Lavigne were feeling all white on the night, for most stars at the Teen Choice Awards it was about bold, bright manicures — we saw yellows, blues, reds and watermelon pinks. If that's too punchy for you, Emma Stone and Fergie did keep things classic with a baby pink and nude apricot respectively. And of course there were plenty of metallic finishes since it's one of the hottest nail trends an' all. Check out all of the must-have manis now.
Robert Pattinson was still rocking his asymmetrical haircut to accept the honour of choice vampire at today's Teen Choice Awards in LA. Rachel Bilson and Joe Jonas had the task of presenting the Twilight star with his latest neon surfboard. Rob took to the podium to thank fans and also share details about a new cancer-fighting campaign, aptly titled Cancer Bites, which kicks off in the US on Oct. 31. Rob was joined by his co-stars Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed in the audience, but one lovely lady noticeably absent from the show was Kristen Stewart, who is currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman overseas.
What a cutie! Kendall Jenner stepped out on today's Teen Choice Awards carpet in this stunning aubergine frock by none other than local design hero Aurelio Costarella. The sharply tailored cocktail dress fitted the younger Kardashian sister like a glove, and we like how she kept the cut-out neckline the focus by abstaining from OTT jewellery. Yves Saint Laurent bronze pumps and a small box clutch finished her look. Are you a fan of Kendall in this Australian-made look?
