The Olsens are calling it "equestrian-meets-aristocrat" — we're calling it exactly what we want right now.

>> Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen can now add shoes to their ever-growing repertoire. The duo has teamed with Toms to offer three takes on the brand's classic espadrille — all with a luxurious, Olsen-cool slant, of course. Made from Italian-sourced wool, leather, and/or cashmere, the Toms + The Row shoes come in an urbane palette of soft greys and plaid.

Retailing at either $140 or $150 — about three times the Toms mainline collection — the selection isn't quite as affordable as your usual pair of slip-ons, but, just like the main line, each pair sold will also benefit a child in need. "Toms + The Row customers will have the ability to give back and create change with a single purchase," expains Ashley. Mary-Kate adds, “Having the opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful has made the collaboration with Toms special to everyone at The Row.” Click through to see the three new styles, available online now at Toms.com.

The Olsens Debut Their Collection For Toms Shoes

If you live in Toms's canvas kicks all Summer long, there might be hope for you in the Winter.

If you live in Toms's canvas kicks all Summer long, there might be hope for you in the Winter. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen just debuted their collection for Toms shoes made out of cashmere and Italian wool — come on, you knew they were going to add a cool twist somewhere in the design process. "The giving is so immediate and transparent," said Mary-Kate Olsen. "Having the opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful has made the collaboration with Toms so special to everyone at The Row."

The Row for Toms shoes collection features three styles in heather gray, a dark-plaid print, and black. Prices are steeper than the usual pair of Toms, ranging from $140 to $150, because of the fancier fabrics, but you can feel good knowing every shoe purchased will be matched with a pair donated to a child in need.

Happy 25th, Mary-Kate & Ashley!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Most Stylish Outfits

This day marks the day two fashionistas — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — entered this world 25 years ago. And we're glad they did! We can't imagine life without their distinctive, covetable style. While Mary-Kate stays true to her bohemian-chic style roots — rocking oversize printed dresses, tons of jewelry, and John Lennon-style sunnies — Ashley makes the most of her minimalist polish; nobody can kill a white button-down or Calvin Klein sheath dress like her. They're entrepreneurs, respected designers, and true style stars; and on Monday they turn a mere 25. They've accomplished so much already, it's hard to believe they're only four years beyond the legal drinking age. Let's all wish our favorite twins a happy 25th by checking out their most interesting and innovative outfits through the years.

The Olsens Set to Launch New Shopping Site, StyleMint

Hot off the heels of Kate Bosworth and Cher Coulter's JewelMint collaboration — a new-age personalized monthly membership shopping club that sends you suggestions based on a style quiz you take upon joining, similar to algorithms Pandora uses — Mary-Kate and Ashely Olsen are jumping on board with a similar concept called StyleMint, set to launch in July.

"With StyleMint.com, Ashley and I have created an online experience reflecting our love of style and allowing us to engage with our customers directly, which is an inspiring new way for us to think and create as design," said Mary-Kate.

StyeMint will be made in collaboration with the same company who created JewelMint, BeachMint, and is set to feature an eight-piece, t-shirt collection – with the possibility of expanding into knits and sweaters in the future — which Mary-Kate and Ashley will help design and merchandise. The best part? Each piece retails for only $29.99. The duo are also set to create regular videos for the site, a treat since we hardly ever see the Olsens on camera, in addition to giving personal style tips and fashion advice. Owning an Olsen-designed piece for $30 is a deal, will you sign up when the site launches?

Are You Interested in Buying Elizabeth and James Footwear?

When we first found out Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen were to create a shoe line with Steve Madden, we were elated with the thought of buying funky footwear at an affordable price.

When we first found out Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen were to create a shoe line with Steve Madden, we were elated with the thought of buying funky footwear at an affordable price. We like the Victorian meets dominatrix style, seen left, but the prices are far from desirable. The collection is set to retail from $195 to $500, which is unusually high since Steve Madden offerings typically range from $70 to $250. The line is slated to hit high-end stores in March; are you still interested in their shoes?

Our favorite twins are at it again and we couldn't be happier, or rather, our BFs couldn't be happier. Next on tap for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: designing a men's collection.

The line will be a part of their upper-tier label, The Row. Ashley came up with the idea and has started the design process for the collection which is rumored to debut in Fall '09. Ashley is known for her cool mixed masculine style so it kind of makes sense. Excitement for all.
