Tomorrow When the War Began Dominates Inside Film Awards

The 2010 Inside Film Awards were given out last night in Sydney and Tomorrow When the War Began led the pack in the favourite Aussie film stakes. In the biggest upset of the night, former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey won the best actress award over screen veteran Jacki Weaver. Weaver had been receiving Oscar buzz for her performance in Animal Kingdom and was a favourite with film critics. Tomorrow When the War Began also won best film, best screenplay and best music. Animal Kingdom’s Ben Mendelsohn was named best actor and David Michod was named best director. Mao’s Last Dancer took home the award for box office achievement and Jack Thompson presented Bryan Brown with the Living Legend Award. Other celebs attending the ceremony included True Blood's Ryan Kwanten, Lincoln Lewis, Jodi Gordon, Sophie Lowe, Jessica Marais, James Stewart, Firass Dirani, Gracie Otto and Asher Keddie. Meanwhile, Animal Kingdom star Sullivan Stapleton sent the rumour mill into over-drive by making a public appearance with his new girlfriend, TV veteran Jo Beth Taylor. The IF Awards are the only film awards voted on by the general public. Do you agree with the winners? Sound off below!

Pop Poll: Tomorrow, When the War Began—See it or Skip it?
Remember in high school when your teacher made you read the Tomorrow series by Aussie author John Marsden? Remember when, after much moaning, you realised you actually liked the books? I hear ya. Which means you'll prob be just as excited as moi to catch the first book in the much-acclaimed series, Tomorrow: When the War Began, on the big screen! The film hit cinemas just this Thursday and stars Home and Away hottie Lincoln Lewis (looking mighty buff and shirtless, I might add), Neighbours cutie Caitlin Stasey and a whole heap of talented, up-and-coming Aussie actors. So check out the trailer and tell me: will you see it or skip it?
Tomorrow When the War Began Stars Hit Melbourne

The Aussie stars of teen action movie Tomorrow When the War Began hit the red carpet in Melbourne last night. We saw gorgeous lead actor Lincoln Lewis relaxing shirtless at the beach last week and he’s just as sexy when he dons a suit! Other celebs at the premiere included former Neighbours star Caitlin Stasey, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Chris Pang, Phoebe Tonkin, Deniz Akdeni, Margot Robbie and Sigrid Thornton. The film follows a group of high-school friends whose lives are turned upside down when they return from a camping trip and discover that Australia has been invaded. The film hits cinemas on September 2, but in the meantime, check out all the pics from the Melbourne premiere!
Caitlin Stasey: Matte Red Lip vs. Pretty Luminous Skin

It kinda sucks when you see "your hair" done better by someone so much younger and more successful than you. But such is life. I'm talking about ex Neighbours hottie Caitlin Stasey. The Aussie actress is all aboard the promo tour bus for Tomorrow When the War Began — which also stars Lincoln Lewis — and she's been flaunting her balayaged bob around Melbourne and Sydney for la premiere. I love it soft and flirty, paired with a sheer white polka dot dress, but I've gotta say that slicking one side back adds a sexy edge to the style, too. She wisely chose to mix up her makeup looks to match the hair, meaning a matte red lip and winged eye for Melbourne last night and a luminous pastel palette for the world premiere in Sydney on Sunday night. Both looks are fab-a-dabulicious. Struggling to pick a fave. Help.
Shirtless Lincoln Lewis at Bronte Beach. You're Welcome.
The temperatures were just starting to creep up last week, but that was enough incentive for Lincoln Lewis to get his gear off. The former Home and Away star was spotted with a friend were enjoying the nice weather at Bronte Beach in Sydney. Lincoln has been a busy boy lately, he’s the star of the new teen action flick Tomorrow When the War Began and just wrapped another Aussie drama called Mei Mei with Guy Pearce. Check out all the sexy shots!
