In a nutshell, Orly's new Magnetic FX Nail Polish ($24.95) contains magnetic particles that move and lift when you hover the accompanying magnet over the top of a freshly painted nail. Each of the three colours comes with its own magnet creating a unique galaxy-like pattern. Amazing, right?! I trialled Opposites Attract (navy blue), but you can also buy Paint On Electron (silver) and Force Field (purple). Yes, sticky tape. It might sound a bit strange, but it's officially my new secret weapon to creating clean, straight stripes on my nails. Using sticky tape is a great alternative if you can't get your hands on a nail pen, and we all have a roll sitting at home (I found mine in with the Christmas wrapping paper). I used colours I had at home: Australis Streak Free Nail Polish in Sweet Pea ($7.95), Utla3 Nail Polish in Sunset Pink (approx $2) and Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat ($14.95). Other than that, grab your roll of tape, some clean, sharp scissors and a pinch of patience - and let's go!

I’ve been hunting for the perfect nail colour for Spring and I think I might’ve just found it. It’s called Spring Fling and it's by Ulta3. There are so many reasons why it’s perfect that I’ve started the list:
