The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show rocked our socks off, and we sat down with model Adriana Lima, a veteran on the VS catwalk, to ask her about all her beauty and fitness tips. Head honchos from Victoria's Secret Monica Mitro and Ed Razek sit down with casting director John Pfeiffer and stylist Sophia Neophitou to find the hottest bods and freshest faces for the gig every model dreams of — the Victoria's Secret Fashion show. We watched this short clip closely to see if we could get a glimpse of Shanina Shaik, the newest Aussie face to score a spot on the VS runway sheet. We didn't see her, but with the underwear extravaganza scheduled for tomorrow US time (we'll have all the pics on Thursday), we thought we should do our homework and get familiar with the girls who are set to sizzle.
Expect to see a lot of Miranda Kerr and her million-dollar bra in the lead up to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show next month. The sexy mama and lead angel was out and about in NYC yesterday, first up visiting FOX & Friends (top right) where she teamed her red frock with a coral gloss, peach-toned cheek colour and silver sparkling shadow. Next up it was on to the flagship Victoria's Secret store on Lexington Avenue for the official unveiling of the Fantasy Treasure Bra. A quick change to a pink figure-hugging frock and a pale pink lip colour to boot and Miranda was ready for round two. Shop her signature bombshell waves and makeup look:
She strutted in the 2010 Victoria's Secret fashion show, and now Brazilian bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio is working her famous poses for Numéro Tokyo's upcoming January/February issue. Even fully clothed, she still exudes major sex appeal. It may help that she's standing next to some hunky, half-naked male models. Nice arm candy, Alessandra! Your wedding dress is meant to be something that you treasure forever. Cue misty montages of showing your kids years down the track. No such luck for mum to be Miranda Kerr as American Airlines have, according to Mrs Bloom's facebook page, lost her honeymoon luggage containing her wedding dress. How heart breaking! The Daily Telegraph reports that the airline has lost one of the four vintage Collette Dinnigan dresses that the Australian designer supplied for Kerr's nuptials to Orlando Bloom in July. So although we now know the Victoria's Secret angel wore a Collette frock (which we guessed!), if the case isn't found we'll never get a glimpse! Miranda won't be walking in today's Victoria's Secret Show (um, have you seen her beautiful bump in the buff yet?), but we bet she'll be cheering the VC angels on in spirit.
We've seen Victoria's Secret show opener Adriana Lima try on her her 'tough love' wings yesterday, and today the angels are getting excited en masse for tomorrow's big show. We're hoping to see more of the same hotness as last year's lingerie bonanza; intricately designed VC wings, truckloads of glitter, costumes applenty and the world's best models strutting their stuff in their undies! The 2010 angel line up includes hotties Jessica Stam, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova and Kanye West's favourite girl Selita Ebanks. Obviously Miranda's out (baby bump 'n' all), but there's no sign of other Aussie girls Abbey Lee Kershaw or Elyse Taylor. Boo. Keep your eyes peeled 'cause we'll be covering all the glitz and glamour here at Fab.
One Brazilian is hot, but two Brazilians? On fire! Victoria's Secret hottie Alessandra Ambrosio and fellow Brazilian model (and ex of Madonna!) Jesus Luz shot a Summer '11 ad campaign for South American brand Chenson, and I have to say, they look quite gorgeous together. Alessandra's probably in Victoria's Secret bootcamp right now, with the big VC catwalk show kicking off at the end of this month. Can't wait to see her don those wings!
