When Olivia Palermo steps out, we take notice. The New Yorker has a knack for mixing eclectic elements to create unexpected but cohesive looks. Yesterday was no exception, with Liv looking like her usual, perfectly-styled self at a screening for W.E at the MOMA in NYC. She made her black Giorgio Armani frock interesting via texture, a trick we're sure to be copying for the silly season. She cleverly layered a Haute Hippie fur shrug over a Topshop fringed shawl for double-duty glamour. A fan of the contrasting shoe/bag play, Olivia worked a sapphire blue pair of bejewelled Manolo Blahnik pumps (Ashley Olsen owns a pair) with a ruby clutch by Mulberry. She gets bonus accessorising points for dragging along boyfriend Johannes Huebl, too! Get a good look (at her 'fit, not him!), from all angles.
2011 Venice Film Festival: The Bevy of Beauty Looks!
The Venice Film Festival has been one to watch on the beauty front, with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger, Cindy Crawford and Abbie Cornish all working their magic at their red carpet premieres, photo call appearances and events about town. We've seen neutral makeup palettes a plenty on the likes of Kate Winslet and Diane, standout eye makeup from Evan Rachel Wood and bold red lips on Madonna, but we're sending props to supermodel Natasha Poly with her flowing locks and shimmering eye makeup — always a winner. Scope all the beauty looks direct from Venice!
From All Angles: Madonna's Ladylike Vionnet Dress
Madonna hit the red carpet in a beautiful dress by Vionnet at the Venice Film Festival where she is debuting her film W.E. Her dress choice has extra significance considering the costumes for her film were reproduced from the original Madeleine Vionnet archives. Madonna looked ultra elegant in the blue silk satin dress beaded with red butterflies teamed with red platform heels — and we loved her bright 40s-style sunglasses. Check out Madonna's glamorous Vionnet number from all angles!
Abbie Cornish Rocks Dark Locks for the US Marie Claire Cover!
Abbie Cornish appeared with her Limitless co-star Bradley Cooper for the cover of the April issue of US Marie Claire sporting a short dark brown lob, the change in hair colour coming with her role in the Madonna-directed film W.E. We're guessing the cover shoot took place back when we saw her shooting the film in Paris, as we've seen her recently on the cover of Harper's Bazaar Australia with darker blonde strands. We're loving that Abbie keeps changing up her look — she's definitely one celeb that keeps us on our toes with her ever-changing style! What do you think of the cover? Or are you still wishing she'd stuck with her breakup cut?
