The two masked French gentlemen who make up the iconic band known as Daft Punk are the latest musicians to star in Saint Laurent's Music Project campaign. The band unveiled details about its upcoming album, Random Access Memories, in a video screened Friday night at Coachella. In it, they, singer Pharrell Williams, and guitarist Nile Rodgers are seen wearing sequined tuxedo jackets — Saint Laurent Black Glitter "Le Smoking" Jackets, in official parlance — created by Hedi Slimane. On Saturday, the house released photos of the duo wearing the jackets and uploaded another video to YouTube that features additional photos of the performers in their sparkly stage wear. Daft Punk has been working with Saint Laurent since Slimane's debut collection for the house, which was shown last October. The duo created a 15-minute soundtrack for Slimane's Spring 2013 show. They join Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, and a number of other musicians who've been featured in the Music Project campaign. Take look at Daft Punk's video below and find their ads here in the gallery.
Nothing gets our heart racing and our palms sweaty like the bi-annual Net-a-Porter sale. Today the luxury e-tailer is adding further lines and more markdowns (up to 70 percent off, people!) to the already impressive list of discounted designer goodies, so we thought we'd edit it down to a very easy, very clickable top ten buys. From the spliced Pierre Hardy heels that we know Garance Doré adores to a classic YSL waist-cincher, the number one criterion for these editor's picks was to give you the biggest bang for your buck. Credit card at the ready?
We've laid down our official fashion new year's resolutions, but what about the off-the-books version? I've asked the ladies in the Sugar office to share what new rules will be applying to their own wardrobes in 2013. From stepping outside your usual colour-palette comfort-zone like Genevieve, to adding a little your underwear collection like Jess, we think there's some serious inspiration from the editorial team. Wanna see what their sartorial goals will be this year? Step this way . . .
We first noticed those glossy locks have been taken shade or two darker, and then we promptly got all gushy over her wear anywhere, taupe smoky. Kate Bosworth is traditionally a bright lip girl — all peach and lots of fun — but of late, she's been championing the nothing lipstick and a darker eye. It's grown up, it's sexy, we're obsessed. She hit the red carpet for the Audi Golden Globes kick-off bash in LA this week with a taupe smoky eye, another safe alternative that will take you from work, to dinner and then onto cocktails. So many smokies, so little time...
Just as all the big celebrity events wrap up for the year, the Christmas presents have started rolling in . . . And aren't we loving it! BellaSugar editor Alison's been a lucky girl, receiving all sorts of pretty goodies to try out before the holiday break — we're talking Tom Ford fragrances, Model Co lipsticks and nail polishes in the greatest colours imaginable and so much more. Fashion editor Ali also got in on the fun, checking out Fab new pieces from Cotton On, Mink Pink and Some Days Lovin', and receiving a sweet pair of customised Havaianas. Have we mentioned the cake pops, delish advent calendars, cherries and Tim Tams we consumed? It's all in here and more — just click through to check it all out!
Ah, the power of a red lip or a classic red nail. The boys go wild for it, and the girls? They ask you what brand and shade name you're wearing. Why Valentino even ends its runway shows with a red piece, and as for red beauty tools? They're about as statement as you can get. Perhaps a bit posh, too. We're going back to basics today to bring you our favourite red prods, step in to get sexy.
It seems that interesting headwear seems to be today's biggest trend! Jennifer Hawkins wore a bejewelled Peter Lang headchain, Jessica McNamee fashioned her hair into a Gaga-esque bow, and Jesinta Campbell has tried out a turban for this year's Melbourne Cup Day! Ms Campbell teamed her pink, satin topper with a white lace shift and her trusty nude YSL pumps. Are you feeling Jes' outside-the-box choice?

With so many events this week — Derby Day, Halloween, Harper's Bazaar's Women of the Year Awards and more — we were completely spoilt for choice when it came to selecting our Top 10 Best Dressed of the Week. But when it comes down to it, we need to seriously be wowed by an outfit for it to make the cut. And by wowed, we mean, it needs to be talked about in the office. Talk we did this week, especially when we spied one incredible Alexander McQueen dress, one white leather suit (yes, that's right) and a heavily embellished white Gucci. So who made the list? There's Lara Bingle, Amber Heard, Gwyneth Paltrow . . . and so many more! Click through to see our top ten looks this week.
Got something to say? Go on then, out with it! Slogan-print tee shirts are our new favourite way to express ourselves — adding a graphic and carefree element to any outfit. Sorry, what was that? You like? Well then, speak up why don't you!
