Zara Phillips Wedding

Most people ’fess up to having a karaoke song, the tune that gets them singing at parties. Prince William’s choice? Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer”! The Duke of Cambridge reportedly took the microphone at cousin Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall’s wedding reception on Saturday night, where he sang Bon Jovi after the newlyweds had performed to Abba in front of their guests. His wife Kate Middleton didn’t sing, but she cheered him on.

Aside from karaoke, the reception, which took place at the Palace at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, had guests dining, drinking champagne and dancing, and apparently kept going until the early hours of the morning! As for Zara and Mike, a honeymoon is on hold as they’ve already returned to the UK so Mike can train with his teammates.

Zara Phillips had a huge smile on her face on Saturday when she left Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk with her new husband, Mike Tindall. The couple was surrounded by friends and family on their big day, including her royal relatives Prince William and Kate Middleton. Mike and Zara were off for their reception with 300 friends and family members. She's among the first of the queen's relations to decide to keep her last name — Zara will continue to use Phillips because of the success she's achieved as an equestrian. There's no immediate honeymoon planned for Mike and Zara either, as he's due to be back with his rugby squad today.

Zara Phillips arrived for her wedding to Mike Tindall today at Cannongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was escorted into the church by her father, Mark Phillips, as her family, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, waited inside. Zara kicked off her ceremony yesterday with cocktails on the royal yacht Britannia. Today, as expected, Zara wore a gown from Stewart Parvin and a tiara from her mother. The ornate headpiece is referred to as the Greek key tiara. Zara will keep her maiden name and not use Tindall, a decision apparently reached because of her fame as an equestrian. The party will take place at Holyroodhouse Palace, the Queen's Scottish residence, and will last until 2 a.m. Zara revealed recently that each of her 300 guests will have a small cake at their place setting, which can be taken home as the favour. Congrats to Zara and Mike!

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie dressed in their wedding finery this today to watch as their first cousin, Zara Phillips, married rugby player Mike Tindall. Beatrice brought along her boyfriend Dave Clark, who joined the girls, Kate Middleton and Prince William for cocktails yesterday on the royal yacht Britannia. It's the second royal nuptials of the year for Eugenie and Beatrice following William and Kate's April 29 vows. Once again, their mother Sarah Ferguson was not on the invite list. They did arrive, though, with their dad Prince Andrew, whose sister Princess Anne played mother-of-the-bride today with Zara.

Prince William and his wife, Kate, arrived at Edinburgh's Cannongate Kirk today for his cousin Zara Phillips's wedding to Mike Tindall. It was their second day of celebrating, after Kate wore her green Diane von Furstenberg dress to a yacht party yesterday. William and Kate will join their family after today's vow exchange for a reception of at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Queen Elizabeth's Scottish residence. The groom arrived at the church in a suit, instead of a traditional Scottish kilt. It's still not known what designer Zara chose for her big day, but she is rumoured to be wearing, just like Kate, a tiara from the royal collection.
