We're well and truly feeling the effects of the warmer weather which means it's time to break out the bronzer and gradual tanner to get into Spring/Summer mode. We turned to L'Oreal Paris Makeup Director Rae Morris for her top tips for wearing and applying bronzer, without looking like an Oompa-Loompa.
When you are applying any cheek colour, never smile because when you do, you give yourself little lines around your eyes. Use a Kabuki brush, don't smile and apply it really high on your cheekbone. Only apply bronzer when you have a hint of a tan or if you are already tanned. Bronzer will only enhance your tan, not give you one — I don’t care if you're as tanned as Miranda Kerr or Megan Gale. I always put a hint of a rose stain under a bronzer, as it takes out that orange tone. Before you apply bronzer, add a little rose lip or cheek stain and then apply bronzer on top.
