Ben, Jen and More Celebrate Their BAFTA Wins in London
The BAFTA Awards may have come and gone, but the after parties kept the stars celebrating all night long in London yesterday. After nabbing both the best picture and best director awards at the event earlier in the evening, Ben Affleck took Jennifer Garner to a party at the Grosvenor House hotel. Jennifer kept on her backless Roland Mouret gown, but bundled up in a black coat as she made her way through the chilly London streets. Meanwhile, Marion Cotillard, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper dropped by Loulou's to attend the Weinstein Company bash with stars like Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence. Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis and Argo Win Big at the BAFTAs
The BAFTAs took place today at London's Royal Opera House, and many awards season heavyweights ended up winning. Daniel Day-Lewis was crowned best actor for his role in Lincoln, and Anne Hathaway took home a best supporting actress honor for Les Misérables. The actor honours were rounded out by best supporting actor, Django Unchained's Christop Waltz, and best actress went to Amour's Emmanuelle Riva. Emmanuelle, 85, pulled off an upset over Jennifer Lawrence, who has won plenty of awards so far for Silver Linings Playbook. Anne Hathaway paid homage to the London locale of the BAFTA Awards by wearing a Burberry gown today. Anne is coming right off the Berlin Film Festival premiere of Les Misérables, where both she and Amanda Seyfried went with dark and sultry looks. Anne was all smiles as she hit today's red carpet. She is up for an award and she has yet to lose at any of the ceremonies this season. The Oscars are still around the corner on February 25 and she is considered a shoo-in for a win there as well. The red carpet at today's BAFTA Awards in London was full of famous ladies in glamorous looks. Jennifer Garner chose a backless Roland Mouret gown for the occasion while nominee Jennifer Lawrence went with a strapless Dior number.
