When Face of Australia's new trio of Sheer Gloss Lip Crayons ($14.95) landed on our desk, we couldn't help but notice a slight similarity to another favourite of ours: Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm ($35). The premise is the same as quite a few products on the market at the moment that promise to blur the lines between lipstick, gloss and balms, offering you the bonus of all three products in one. Read on as we put Face of Australia's newbie through its paces, sharing if they really live up to their nourishing and non-sticky hype and everything else that you can expect from them.
The Body Shop Launches a Great NARS Body Glow Dupe!

If you're one of those people that gets paid on the 15th and has spent all their money by the 16th, we've got an amazing beauty dupe for you. We've never met anyone who doesn't love NARS Body Oil — a beautiful blend of Monoï de Tahiti oil that leaves skin looking as though you've just stepped off a boat in the South Pacific — but at $100 a pop, there's no denying it's exxy. Up until now, nothing's ever really compared in our book, but The Body Shop is releasing Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil next month, and boy, it's a pretty good stand in. At $39.95 it's less than half price and also leaves skin with a sexy, shimmering glow. The Body Shop's version is heavy on the Community Fair Trade ingredients, with honey from Ethiopia and beeswax from Cameroon. What do you think? Would you buy it or do you prefer the real thing?
Bella Poll: Do You Like a Good Beauty Dupe or Not?
Everyone who's anyone would've tried YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch ($55). And no doubt fallen in love with it. I swear by it. But I also have girlfriends who — as much as it pains them — can't afford to drop that much every few months. Not when there's rent to be paid. Sigh.
There are some great dupes out there, though. Like Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector ($19.50), Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer ($26.95) and the newly-released (it literally hit shelves yesterday) Napoleon Perdis Mighty Concealer Pen ($35).
But what are your feelings about beauty dupes: do you dig them or do you prefer to own the original?
