As we're in full fragrance mode right now — this week voting is open for the 2010 Bella Fragrance Awards — it’s making us think about all things scentual, and you can't do that without reminiscing over iconic fragrances such as Chanel No. 5, Opium and cK One. All were synonymous with the era that they launched and said as much (if not more) about pop culture as the latest records, movie or fashion trends.
Go Halle! Only earlier this week the actress unveiled Reveal, her hot new scent, and now she's won an award for her first. Halle scooped the coveted Fragrance of the Year accolade in the women's category at the annual FiFi Awards, for her debut fragrance Halle By Halle Berry.

Those celebrities don't mess around y'know. The last few days has seen a flurry of activity on the celebrity fragrance terrain. Friday witnessed a double whammy with both Kimora Lee Simmons and Celine Dion unveiling their new fragrances on the same day.
Lara Stone was announced as the face of Prada's new fragrance campaign last week. So exciting! And the beauty is already fronting Jaeger's Spring campaign and turning heads.

For those of us who love watching our favourite celebs lending their faces to some of the world's most famous beauty brands, get excited because 2010 looks set to be a big year. Over the last few months we've heard about Julia Roberts signing with Lancôme, model of the year, Georgia May Jagger joining the ranks of Rimmel, Cindy Lauper and Lady Gaga becoming the new faces of the MAC AIDS Fund, Beyonce creating her first fragrance and (fingers crossed) Kate Moss possibly collaborating on two new hair and makeup lines. So, we have to ask: which celebrity beauty advert are you most eagerly awaiting in the new year?
Angelina Jolie is working hard through the festive period, reshooting scenes for her latest movie, Salt. The actress (who was today named beauty icon of the decade by UK Marie Claire) has dyed her hair and added a blunt fringe for the part. We've seen Angelina opt for several different colours this year, with subtle highlights for the Summer months and a deeper brunette shade for the Autumn.
