For the April cover of W, Jennifer Aniston took a step away from her girl-next-door image for one seriously sultry shoot.
Jennifer's famous locks were coiffed by her long-time stylist Chris McMillan, who told W that the secret behind the actress's tousled tresses was dirt—literally. "It's not her typical blown-out hairstyle," he said. "It's a little rougher. We liked seeing the flyaways." After the first day of the shoot, McMillan allowed Jennifer's hair to dry naturally curly, refining it from there. For day two, photographer Steven Klein asked that Jennifer come prepared with unwashed hair. "We left her hair dirty. It just created a nice chunky texture," McMillan said.
What do you think of the result? Personally I think she looks HOT so 'scuse me if I arrive sans the shampoo tomorrow . . .

I have NO idea why Taylor Swift doesn't bust out the straighteners more often. I think she nails the straight, dishevelled hair look. Especially with the fringe benefits that she had going on for US Elle's latest shoot. I know the ringlets are her signature style but she looks less curly cutesy, more straight up sexbomb after some one-on-one time with the ghd's, don't you think?

I keep staring at these photos of Gwyneth Paltrow at the 2010 Laureus World Sports Awards in Abu Dhabi last night thinking hmmmmm. She's looking more fresh-faced (read: bare-faced) than usual with only a few false lashes, a hint of kohl and some clear lip gloss. With her hair loose, save for two thin braids, it's a far cry from the red carpet hottie that we've come to know and love. On one hand, I feel like "Go Gwyneth," who says you have to be dressed to the nines at all times, but on the other I think, this was an awards show (just because it's sports, it still counts), step a little harder on the glamour gas, no? What do you think?

As Pop would say, it's all over red rover for Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke. The nation's been waiting with baited breath to see if the Aussie Posh and Becks would split after a crazy fortnight of nude photo scandals, old affairs and some seriously public airing of dirty laundry. We called it in the office as soon as Michael flew back from NZ. Mess with the cricket, mess with the country. Not the wisest move. But, me, I'm most interested in how it's going to affect Lara's hair. No longer safe in the WAG domain, will she ditch her tousled beach waves for a blunt bob à la Abbie Cornish? Or handle humiliation with a lob like Anne Hathaway? Perhaps mixing up her colour like Lily Allen may be in order? Or she could follow in Reese Witherspoon's footsteps and get some breakup bangs? Here's hoping it's not a shaved head like Brit. But then again, she might surprise us all and go for the dignified Team Aniston approach and refuse to get a breakup makeover. Spoilsport. Which do you think it'll be?

Much has been made of Sam "I'm just a brickie from Perth" Worthington chewing gum while presenting next to Jennifer Lopez but he's got more to worry about than getting slammed by the press. Cosmetic surgeons are now saying that chewing gum is the latest thing to cause wrinkles. US-based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hema Sundaram believes that “chewing gum promotes muscle over-activity and potentially breaks down support tissue within the skin, contributing to volume loss and perhaps loss of skin elasticity.” Maybe that's Sam's Grand Master Plan, though? Wrinkles + Payless shoes = totally unpretentious guy, no?
That's the question I've been asking myself recently. Because, in your eyes, Kristen Stewart’s the best thing since sliced bread.
I get it. I mean, Twilight, right. I've seen the movie. I've wanted to be Bella. (The other one.) But is her overwhelming popularity simply a by-product of us struggling to separate Miss Swan from Miss Stewart? Or is it a whole lot more?
On paper she's a young, attractive actress who has the world at her feet. She's part of the biggest franchise since Harry Potter; she's dating the world's most-lusted after man; designers are vying to dress her; makeup gurus are on-hand to primp her; yet still she's kept herself to herself, seemingly awkward with the spotlight shining so brightly on her.
Here you have a girl who wears Cons to an awards show, who has no issue with sporting a mullet, who has become the poster girl for pale. So is that it? Is it her refusal to bow down to Hollywood pressure, to be like everyone else, to be predictable; is this what makes us love her? You tell me, what is it about Kristen Stewart...

V Magazine is probably my most favourite mag. The images. Sigh. They're always beautiful. Without fail. And slightly left of the middle too. I'm loving issue #64 which features Kristen Dunst as cover-girl, sporting some interesting brow work. The top of her eyebrows have been darkly lined and extended out towards her temple, with the arch accentuated and shaded in with a dark blonde towards the eye socket. I love the look on her. Some serious false lashes and a glossy pink lip wrap it up nicely, while I simply cannot get over the startling resemblance to Mae West in this black and white shot. LOVE. Those cheekbones would cut ice. You like?
(Psst. PopSugar has all the deets of Kristen's interview: her time out from Hollywood and her friendship with Rodarte's Mulleavy sisters.)

Most famous for her blonde locks, the Grey's Anatomy actress is no stranger to mixing up her hair hue if a role calls for it, but what do you think of her new dark chocolate 'do? Originally I thought it made her look a bit plain Jane, but now I look again, I actually kind of like it. It doesn't wash her out and I like the mahogany undertones; do you?

When my birthday swings around next month I shall not be asking for money, jewels or designer fragrance. I'll solely be requesting that I am magically transformed into Diane Kruger. Every friggin' time the girl gets it right. It'd bore me if it didn't amaze me so. Unlike our other starlets, I would take (and will be taking) all three of these styles and making them my own. Pronto. From the glamorous vintage roll to her unique take on up styles, Diane just keeps on giving and giving. And I know you might be feeling all Oscar-ed out, but before we put the Oscars to bed for another year, let us try to pick a favourite of these three lustrous looks . . .

Kate Winslet's being quite the darling of 2010 Awards season so far, turning up to all four of the major events (L-R: the Globes, the SAGs, the BAFTAs and the Oscars). And while I loved her BAFTAs curls, there is simply no getting away from how awesome she looked at yesterday's Oscars. She could've actually passed for an Old Hollywood screen siren, don't you think? Absolute stunning. Is it your best look? Or not?
