6 Months to Perfect Teeth: My Invisalign Review, Part 2

Earlier this year, I reviewed the initial stages of having Invisalign fitted to my once crooked teeth and now, 15 weeks into process, I'm seeing real results. I covered my first consultation with The Invisible Orthodontists' Dr. Baisi, and also my choice to pay upfront for Acceledent. Adding Acceledent to my treatment means I have to wear my aligners for half the amount of time. For an extra $1400, my treatment plan went from 12 months down to, at this stage, five and a half months. The main reason I opted in is because I'm getting married and I want to have the finished product (perfect teeth!) on my big day.

6 Months to Perfect Teeth: My Invisalign Review, Part 1

That's a pretty outrageous statement, right?

That's a pretty outrageous statement, right? It's hard to believe that these days, we can have our crooked teeth corrected in as little as six months. Late last year I was invited to have a consultation with Dr. Baisi — a member of The Invisible Orthodontist group. This group of orthodontists specialise in Invisalign, those magical, near-invisible braces. Of course I jumped at the chance because while my teeth aren't that crooked, they are crowded in the front and it has always bothered me. I've considered having Invisalign fitted for years, so this was finally the push I needed to find out if it would work for me. To hear about my initial consult, keep reading.

Bondi Rescue's Harries Rides the Beauty Wave With Invisalign

Bondi Rescue's resident ladies man, Anthony "Harries" Carroll, has just added a new string to his bow — beauty ambassador!

Bondi Rescue's resident ladies man, Anthony "Harries" Carroll, has just added a new string to his bow — beauty ambassador! The professional lifeguard has signed on as a spokesperson for Invisalign Australia, the teeth straightening method that sees people wearing clear, removable brace-style aligners to straighten and correct teeth. Harries started the treatment last month after longing for a Hollywood smile for ages:

"Fixing my teeth has always been something I’ve wanted to do, but because I have such an active lifestyle and spend so much time in front of the camera, braces simply weren’t an option for me. A friend of mine introduced me to Invisalign and I was surprised by how discreet it is — it really is virtually invisible. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m thrilled to endorse such a great product, I doubt anyone would ever notice I am in treatment!"

Is Harries a good spokesperson? Would you consider having the treatment now that he is?
